okay so because of the VT shooting, they have now been working on new Gun Control Provisions to help keep us safer.

The idea has been to keep guns out of the hands of those who are criminals, and those who have mental defect.

So now the new provision to the law is that states now share information with the FBI and the NICS, so that people like the person who killed those 31 students and teachers aren't able to get their hands on guns anymore.

The NRA is in support of this, and there has only been one argument againt the provision sighting it is an infringment on Second Amendment Rights.

so what do you think? Do you agree with the provision? Do you think it will work? Do you think it will help to keep/stop those who shouldn't have gun ( bought legally )?

Or

Do you think that this is just another way to step on the toes of those who are good gun owners and infringe on the Second Amendment rights?

I've recently started talking to my ex. I really love seeing him, but I'm in love with someone else. The one I want to be with is married. We've wanted to be together for over 2 years. He has three kids, and has to wait for the youngest to start kindergarten, which isn't until fall 2008. I drive myself crazy every night thinking about us being together. He is my soulmate. On the other hand my ex is always calling and wanting to be there for anything I might need, which feels really good because my soulmate can never be there. My soulmate texts me and calls me a lot. He wants to continue seeing eachother as much as we can in the meantime, but it's too hard for me when I've been waiting for so long. I don't want to see him, but I do. Should I forget about him, or wait? If I forget about him my ex might actually have a shot at winning me over. But he's cheated on me in the past. We broke up because I wanted to be with my soulmate, which was 2 1/2 years ago.

Recently , an adult acquaintance referred me to Fred Meyer's Jewelers. He was kind enough to talk to the manager and put in some good words for me. I will be interviewing there in a couple days. I told a guy friend that I had feelings for him as more than a friend and I did not expect anything in return. He replied by saying he was glad I told him and that he always has a great time with me. He added that he appreciates that we can be honest with each other. He has never told me how he feels about me and is against the long distance thing. I took it as a not interested and have tried moving on from it. However I find that hard to do when he contacts me twice a week. I don't know what to do.

A couple days ago i was going through my computer deleting some crap i had put on like random things that i know wouldn't harm my computer and after deleting some things i looked at my computer and at my memory and it had gone from 1.62 to 1.49 free space in 2 days and i didn't install anything new... anyone know whats going on? thanks a bunch

I have always tipped hairdressers, whether they owned the shop or not. However, I seem to recall that in the past the correct ettiquette was that one did NOT tip the shop owner. My husband recently had his pay reduced, so I'm looking at ways to cut costs. To tip the owner or not tip the owner....that's the question. If it matters, I live in the South.....Oklahoma

When you place your mouse pointer over the time (in the bottom right corner) in Windows XP, the date is supposed to show in a little box until you move the pointer away, isn't it?

Why is it then that when I do it, the date only sometimes shows (e.g it won't show now, but did all yesterday), and sometimes doesn't? Could this be a virus on my system? I have all of the updates, and Norton and Kaspersky do show all clear!

Why did Hitler jail and murder socialists all during his nightmare regime? I just wonder since so many people see the 'socialist' in National Socialist.... party and think Hitler was a socialist.

Do some people who call him a socialist just do that to offer some kind of proof against socialism? Bush calls himself a Christian, but I wouldn't hold that against Jesus.
