I would certainly date a transexual if I were attracted to this person. I would also stay in a relationship if I found out that my boyfriend was once a female, no problem. Of course, I'm a very open minded bisexual female. I have no problem at all with anyone's sexual preferences, as long as they're healthy and do NOT involve children. Live and let live. As long as you like a person, what do the technicalities matter, really?

I think that is totally up to the individual. It's a bit of a mind-twister, but if I had a boyfriend and found out he was once a she, I'd probably stay with him. Sure, I'd have a lot of questions and need time to adjust to that kind of news, but I fell in love with a person, not a gender.

Well, guess not everybody would accept that. But surely it won't be entirely hopeless. There are always some people who don't mind this and just into the feeling thing. In their minds, the body is just the appearance thing, it has nothing to do with the soul inside. The soul is what you are falling into.

No. I would not date a transexual man, due to equipment issues.

No I would not date that person. Too many issues to deal with and I have enough things in my life without taking on more "baggage." If they've already had the operation and have worked out all the emotional and pyschological crap, then sure.

"the full works of tran-gender"? Sounds like a set of books...:)
To answer your question, I would have no issues dating a transman; if (a) I liked him as a person, and (b) I wasn't lesbian ;)
Of course, I probably have a slightly more open viewpoint than most people; I'm transsexual too.

I'm pretty open-minded, so as long as he was upfront about it, and it was someone I was crazy about, I'd make myself get over any odd feelings.
The best advice I can give your friend is to be upfront about it with people; it's going to turn off a lot of people, but it will also show him who the truly good, caring people are right off the bat as well.

i would like to believe that if my bf was once a woman i would still love him the same way. i also like to think that it is whats inside that counts. i know that my friends have never thought my bf was good looking but i love all the same. we all have something we are not comfortable with ourselves and all we do is try to live with the best we can. tell your friend that if it is really what she wants it doesnt matter what others think as long aas she is happy with herself you will be there for her (even if you agree or disagree).

No one who can procreate is likely to have any interest in a monogamous relationship with a partner who cannot help to pass on each other's genes into future generations.
It's a gentic dead end, so our primary drive of preserving our genes will be dead set against it.

I don't think I could. It's just weird for me to think about. And going through something like that probably means they have other issues. People that go on day to day in the body they were given have enough problems for me, so why add some more? No thanks.
