my 11 week old son has a slight cold, its been off and on for about two weeks. hes not miserable , but coughing and sneezing every once and while, and has a stuffy/runny nose. is there anything the doc can do? and suggestions?

FOR BLACKS ONLY (Some question about Tyler Perry PLAYS?)?
I think that I have got to be one of the only African American who thinks Tyler Perry's plays are POORLY WRITTEN PIECES OF ..(DO-DO)! There are a few "feel good" scenes which are (typically) mostly church scenes! However, his stereotypes of women as either overly weak, (the victim character) or overbearing (his Medea character) are OVER THE TOP!! His males are depicted as either "so damn nice and sweet" that they are not real men or they are just THE DEVIL (the villians). Another problem is that most of his plays STEAL from other plays. (The Color Purple, Roots, & Beloved)

Unlike his screen plays, the music in his stage plays are ussually irrelevant to the plot and what is worse he OFTEN breaks character to talk to the audience.

TYLER PERRY'S PLAYS ARE NOT LEGIT BLACK THEATRE

REASONS:
1. There is no subtlity to his characters.
2. The message & themes of the play are ussually on the surface there are no secondary or subplots.
3. They depend heavily on stereotypes.

4. Most of his Morality plays PREACH TO HARD, they do not leave the audience with much to think about or ponder on!

5. Many of his plays steal to much from other plays, his works do not stand on it's own.

6. Tylar doesn't seem to have an "honest" grasp of the human condition.

7. He also depends to heavily on LOW-BROW humor....Fart Jokes, silly wise cracks about shooting someone, snatching weaves and etc.

KoKo, I understand that a play most have some type of conflict and in plays that have a "man vs. man" conflict there most be a good and a bad guy! However, in most sopisticated DRAMA's (which his plays ussually are) the characters are more "well-rounded" most of the characters are not PURELY GOOD or PURELY EVIL! They are mostly right or left of the center

First of all I CAN read. I actually like to read and am very good at it, but lately I can't seem to finish an entire book at will. I have an entire shelf of books and the newest ones are all only half-read. Does anyone know what could have caused this sudden disinterest?

my hubby has been MIA since friday. we didn't talk 4 a week, it almost seems like he was looking 4 an excuse to get mad. My mother owes Social Security about $140,000 in back payment (due to years of an error on their end). Nevertheless, she worked out a deal w/them to pay them back, but believes that she will be paying them back every month until she dies. Which got me to wondering. If she still owes when that time comes, can they take the amount owed out of her life insurance beneficiary payment? They told her that they cannot set up to have payments come from her monthly pension checks because that is a private fund rather than a goverment fund check. So, does this mean that they can't take out money owed from the insurance check? I was just wondering how this worked. Does anyone know??

two years ago, they had these sexy swimsuits available where it was a solid color and a contrast outlining.

For example, I'd like to get that sexy type of halter bra-top and hipster-like bikini that's say, white with blue trim for someone, but as I check in all the online stores, I don't see them around anymore. Aren't there still places where I can get these styles that can be any color with different colors of outline trim?

I have a secured credit card which I got it when I came to US. Now i have unsecured credit cards. I want to cancel the secured one since there I have a secured deposite. what happens If I cancel that card. Will I be loosing all the credit history that has been accruded so far?
