I love Dream Theater, also love Megadeth, Ozzy in any incarnation, Lamb of God & Hellyeah.
I agree somewhat with you about Metallica, the black album, which was Bob Rock is a somewhat watered down version of them, but they got progressively worse when they lost Newstead. Their reasoning? He was doing A SIDE PROJECT! So basically, the rest of Metallica are a pack of jealous beyoches!

Slayer is my #1, Coal Chamber, Slipknot, Biohazard, Motley Crue, Megadeth, Motorhead, Pantera.... the list goes on very long!
