It's so strange to me that they can jump from a very sad make you wanna cry story .... into a very cheery story with out showing any emotion!

the stories I just heard were .....

Today 3 ppl were found dead in this westside home......(story) ...... that is sooo sooo sad. Well on the lighter side of the news ... (a damn funny story) ..... hahahaha ..... unfortunatly police believe they have found the body of a missing local teen ......(story) ..... now lets go to sports!

WTF is that, why do they seem to not care about anything?

I am 14 and I haven't been able to see it since I was like12 I don't have much fat at all on my stomach but I do have a little that you can see when I sit down.. But when I stand Up my stomach is flat and u can just see a hole and no belyy button.. Can someone give mem advice on how to get it back because I don't think sit ups are going to help because the muscle will jus cover up the fat I have..

When I announced the death of my son nearly every christian came out to lecture me about Jesus.

Not one asked whether I was Christian.

Not one asked about my beliefs.

It seems they all thought this a good time to 'educate' me about Christianity.

But when I respond to these ham-fisted attempts to convert me, I'm told I'm too distraught and too upset to be speaking poorly of Christianity and those who tried to convert me.

So I'm upset enough for you to think this a good time to convert me, but too upset if I refuse to be converted?

Why must you insult those who are firm in their own beliefs and refuse to be converted by you?

Why must you insult those whose beliefs you trample during their time of grief?

Why do you seek to take advantage of grief to convert another, like vultures pecking at a wounded lion, yet run away when you discover the lion is not so wounded as to permit you to continue?

Why worship a god who drowned babies and butterflies (Genesis 6, 7)?

im sure its been asked a hundred times already but i only joined this today so im trying to get an idea of peoples tastes, so whats yours?? mine? easily the Sopranos. I love it because it has the opportunity to delve more into a life that most of us will never know, the life of a gangster. Their relationsips, inner thoughts, attitudes etc. In gangster movies you only really get to see the criminal side of the characters and not the human, however little there may be, Tony Soprano in my opinion is one of the greatest developed characters ever to grace the screen in both tv and film.

I'm twelve and at school we have these checups only for our weight and height and thats how much I've gained. I'm average looking like you wouldn't think I was almost 90 pounds but I guess I am. Everywhere we go she is always asking people for things. Whether it be money for snacks, some of their snacks, or a toy that they have. I have tried to drill it into her that it is rude and unacceptable. Some of the people dont help because they tell her how cute she is and of course she can have some. Everytime my son has a baseball game we go through the rules of not asking. If someone offers it is one thing, but it is rude to constantly ask, especialy for money when they are giving their own children some. Has anyone been through this and how to I get over being so embarrased? How do I get her to stop?
