I'm twelve and at school we have these checups only for our weight and height and thats how much I've gained. I'm average looking like you wouldn't think I was almost 90 pounds but I guess I am. Is that normal? My mom says its muscles because I have done Gymnastics and Dance since I was 4 but i dont know. Is it normal?

At 12, yup it's normal. Don't worry about it and since you do dance/gymnastics your mother is probably correct about it being muscle. During adolecent years it is perfectly healthy to gain 12 pounds over a period of 7 months it is less than 2 pounds a month.

You'll get to round five'7-five'nine. Sorry friend you can in no way succeed in a million.80m until your father and mother are that top. I'm 5ft 6 (a million.68m precisely) at 15 years historic, my Dad is 5ft 7.five and my Mum is 5ft two and my Doctor anticipated I'll be five'nine/five'eight. Because your Dad is best five'four it is not likely you can be taller than five'nine. Lol dude I consider you at the female friend factor, my female friend is 14 and five'6 and her Dad is tremendous so I'm involved she's gonna be taller than me haha. I'm a US measurement nine.five - 10 that's beautiful ordinary (and ordinary top is approximately five'nine), I could say that to your shoe measurement five'7/five'eight turns out your most likely top. Although you don't forget that your best sixteen and also have a couple of years left so that you can develop. I'm Japanese so we are each Asians (popular for being brief) despite the fact that Japanese individuals are typically taller that Chinese individuals (as a rule vitamin and genetics and so forth.) You gotta take your history under consideration because it performs a huge have an impact on in your top, like I'm definite should you lived in China you would be regarded particularly tall.

That seems perfectly normal. Kids grow rapidly at that age.

More importantly though, you really shouldn't be so concious about this issue. It sounds like you're active in different activities, so just concentrate on those things, not about how much you weigh, unless a doctor is concerned. Don't start judging yourself now.. you should be enjoying yourself.

Yes it is normal, you are growing and with that comes weight gain. I have a 12 yr old stepdaughter and she is skinny but weighs almost 100lbs. She is mostly muscle not really alot of fat on her.

Wow... well I think that 78 is underweight for a 12 yr. old. So 89 is a good, healthy weight. Don't worry about it.

You are just fine. Your height and weight are going to spurt for the next few years. As long as you eat healthy and are active, you'll be just fine.

Its normal.

Do not obsess over how much you weigh....that is like saying you are taller than average....stop it...Do you look healthy? if so than don't worry about the scales just know that your body is doing what it does to keep you healthy.

did you get taller, too? maybe it was just a growth spurt. how much you should weigh depends on your height. don't worry about what you weigh. your body is going to change a lot real soon.
