Immigration is a hot topic. Most of us agree that illegal immigrants should be deported and that the amnesty bill is not in our best interests at all. I've not seen one person totally disagree (other than a few democrats, Bush, and McCain).

Of course, this being a republic and not a democracy, we have no votes, no say on specific bills. Some of these bills affect us directly, the everyday hard-working people, rather than the officials making these decisions for us.

In fact, I think it's one of very few subjects both parties can agree on - that we don't want amnesty. We don't even want the illegals we already have. We need to band together now, more than ever, to say not no, but hell no to amnesty. Why have I not seen anyone taking this to the streets of Washington? In the distant past we've seen people protest many things, and brought about change.

Why have Americans become so complacent?

I find it surprising that of all the greats to play the game, no one has been elected unanimously. I also find it surprising that Tom Seaver has the all-time highest Hall of Fame vote percentage(98.84). There's no doubt that Seaver belongs in the Hall, but he would not have been among my top ten guesses of players who got the highest vote percentage ever had I not seen Baseball's Digest's list in a recent issue.

I,m 42 and my lovely wife is 40. we live a pretty fair life raising 2 boys a dog and turtly, being of african american decent i think we are doing o,k.. my problem is that she wants sex at least 3 times a week and i have the desire once a week. Its not that i dont enjoy her, as a matter of fact its great but at this stage in my life i like to express my love not only sexually but other ways to like walks, talks sociallizing with other couples, backyard partys,,,anybody feel me,, help because i dont want to destroy or chase her to another. as i have heard some women say whats not taken care of at home will get taken care of somewhere else. I,m trying to avoid this and any advice would be appreciatted..

Is television getting out of hand? Weeelll, I was watching "America's got Talent" last night, and I was shocked at how rude that Pier (or whatever his name is) was. To go further, on "So you think you can dance", one of the judges was really rude (e.g. "dont come back unless we're looking for your type" "what is MY type?" "overweight and can't dance"). every show like these seems to have a "Simon Cowell" type british guy who beats up even little children with their words. I know I sound really angry, but I just think that more advice should be given, and less tearing down. anyone else think so?

I cannot work due to service connected injuires for over a year now and also per a dr's advice that if I continue to work I will be paralysed. I have claims in with the VA which takes years and I have applied for SSI and SSDI. I have an attorney to work my case for SSA but the attorney states they need more medical evidence to win my case. The problem is the Veterans Administration is making me wait 3 or more months for medical appointments. My wife works and Social Services says she makes too much money at $2000.00 gross per month. So I cannot get medicaid. But if it takes months for appointments at the VA I will not have much medical evidence. My wife and I cannot afford her jobs medical insurance. Anyone know of how I might be able to get medical treatment for evidence besides the VA or Social Services?

I can go onto Megan's Law. com and look up all the pervs in my neighborhood, but to knock on their door and tell them how disgusting I think they are is against the law.

They've gotten away with their crimes. They stole an child's innocence and I don't see why they should be shielded from the public. Most of the are repeat offenders who will never learn.

Why do child molestors and rapists get more sympathy and help from than their victims?

I am very disappointed and feel bad, I asked to be the Director of my Parish, the seceracty who is doing it now, says she does not want that part of the job. I said I would love it.

Well, she was suppose to speak to the head prisit and when I went to church my husband mention it to him, and he said he knew nothing about it.

I called the secretary and she never returned my call, I even emailed her.

I was so sure I would get this since I have 25 years experience in teaching religion, that I told my family and friends.

Well, now there is no answer and I guess I am not getting it, I feel bad, and most of all I feel bad about is that nobody could give me a yes or no.

I feel like giving up on praying, going to church, because nothing works out, can someone give me advise on how to handle this?

I only want honest answers, not in the mood for anyone being funny on this.

Now, before you go there, I need to warn you (as our atheist buddy did not) that this is a troll site...a rather ridiculous attempt by a really twisted person to make Christians look like idiots.
My question is, after you've seen this pathetic parody, what do you, as an atheist, think?
Many of you have roasted Christians for posting hate-sites, and rightly so...thinking of Freddie Phelps, for instance, who is an embarrassment to Christ, let alone Christianity.
So, having truthfully told us that posting hate sites is a no-no, and showing us the error of our ways...do you now think this site is "funny"??
Since you have all read the Bible, or so you tell us, and since you all have such high IQs and are so logical, I'm sure your answers will be courteous and considerate.
