I'm tired of courts stepping in and telling governemtns what they can and can't do. They want to stop a town from making it illegal to rent to illegal aliens? They are illegal, they have broken the law, but we can't stop from renting to them? Hey Charles Manson want to rent my house, courts say it's ok.

If you want to stop illegal aliens you have to hit them where it hurts. Fine and imprison employers who hire them and make it illegal to rent to them. Can't work and no place to live they will go home and apply for legal status.

He would not do it just because you people need a proof!

I know one thing for sure in my life:

"Atheists don't know what faith is all about" they have an idea but, they have not experienced faith, they do not know what it is!

In California how long do you have to live at a residence before it can be considered your address? I have been living at the same place for 4yrs now. We recently got new owners who have hired a property management company. Now all of the sudden this management company from hell is telling me that I don't count because my name is not on the lease. When they first met us everything was peachy, their rep said she would bring by an application for me to fill out but it would only be a formality. She assured us that there would be not screening process. After 3 months, no application so I called her on it. She responded by mailing me an application and expects me to pay a $30.00 credit check fee and has left me a voice mail stating that because I am a "guest" who has visited for over 15 days I must first be approved by them in order to be able to continue to stay. This can not be right. I live in Oakland California any insight?

They've been living together for several years, have a lovely home and have decided to get wed. The invitations have gone out - but no mention of gifts etc. Wedding presents used to be bought for couples to start their home off - toaster, dinner service, sheets etc. Whats the procedure if the home is complete.

I'm a black and latin woman. I want to know what do you feel about black men and their respect (or disrespect) for women today. Do you feel discouraged? Encouraged? Do you date outside of your race offen, or not at all? I think personally that black men are being more and more disrespectful of women. I also think that they make it cool for other men to disrespect us. When you find a good black man he's worth the world, but they seem to come few and far between now-a-days.
