Sad but true. When the hammer doesn't work then we use the pillow. Everyone knows that patients sleep all night. And night nurses get paid more than day nurses. Something wrong with that picture. LOL

Last time I was in hospital, the patients didn't get any sleep at night. We were kept awake by the nurses talking loudly and constantly to each other. If any of us dared to buzz, a nurse would eventually saunter in 10 minutes later, with a filthy look for whoever disturbed her. Maybe the hammer would be the best option!

If that's how it happens, then how do you wake us up again for the sleeping pill at 3 a.m. Splash water on us, hand us a pill, any pill, and the clunk us again?

Gee thanks, I'm going to the hospital in a couple of weeks for a surgery, I'll make sure I take a crow-bar with me, and keep it under my pillow.

Obviousley you're not a nurse, they give them a pill, + if the patient is some one they like, they breast feed them while singing them a lullaby.
They won't do this for someone like you.

Report them for bad charting, & get their license revoked.
