The US has over 300 million people. A large portion of this is christian. Generally a large portion of THOSE are anti-abortion.

In 2003, 120,000 children were WAITING to be adopted

120,000 children... do you realize how easily they could be brought into christian families in the US?

Just had white wooden venetian blinds fitted but I hate them! want the natural wood look - Can i get natural wood stain or varnish type products to change the colour? (Yes I realise I have a very slow and messy task ahead - but I paid an arm and a leg for these blinds and have no other choice!)

Recently Ive was told that dog food isnt as good as preparing ur dogs food ursef. Infact it can add 10 years to youre dogs life. I have never given my pup raw meat until recently because he is a picky eater at the best of times. But he loves raw mince so I thought why not . Now he has had other raw meats ( not chickhen ofcourse) and eats them with joy ,. What are ur thoughts on feeding youre dogs...

By distilling it without using electricity or any other power source other then the sun. Could this be used to harvest the salt left over from the process as well? Would this work in any bright hot sunny area close enough to the ocean to pipe sea water to it? Wouldn't building enough of these generate enough water be able to turn the deserts of the middle east into gardens and fields bringing prosperiety to the people there and produce enough fresh clean water and food to end world thirst, hunger and help end world poverty? Wouldn't this also work well for Austrailia especially considering the once in a thousend years level drought they've been stuck in and help end terrorism at the same time because it would end those root causes that lead to it?

Here's a little about me:
After I got my BA, I worked for a year in sales management, but I have been presenting at academic conferences that relate to my academic interests. Although I do not have a Sociology BA, I do have a BA in the humanities with a GPA of 3.67, and my research interests are directly related to sociology. I have excellent GRE scores, and undergraduate professors who can write excellent supportive recommendation letters. The reasons I'm thinking of not applying are as follows:
-It's HARVARD and it's very competitive
-I do not have an MA, even though this program does not require applicants to have one.
-My BA is not from a great college and it is not in Sociology.

I have recently decided that I would like to become either a web designer or web developer...I spend quite a bit of time online and really would like to learn how to build my own website. I am thinking of taking a few courses at the Art institute of Washington so I can get a diploma in web design. I suppose I just wanted to ask if it would be worth while for me to do so? I see many job listing around the area for web designers so I wouldn't have a problem finding work if I have a good enough portfolio but is web design a good career path to choose?

I signed up for phone service with McLeod USA and I switched carriers to AT&T because of no service for 4 separate weeks and my small business directory listing was not in the upcoming phone book as promised. The deadline for the phone book was Jan.31 2007 and I signed up in Nov. 2006. AT&T charges a $99 early termination fee. But McLeod charged me an outrageous $612.87. Is that legal? They didn't specify in the contract either. Please let me know your opinion.
