hearing The story of Moses (pbuh) and the Pharaoh of the Exodus are very much identical in the Qur’an and the Bible. Both scriptures agree that the Pharaoh drowned when he tried to pursue Moses (pbuh) and led the Israelites across a stretch of water that they crossed. The Qur’an gives an additional piece of information in Surah Yunus chapter 10 verse 92:

"This day shall We save thee in thy body, that thou mayest be a sign to those who come after thee! But verily, many among mankind are heedless of Our Signs!"
[Al-Qur’an 10:92]

Dr. Maurice Bucaille, after a thorough research proved that although Rameses II was known to have persecuted the Israelites as per the Bible, he actually died while Moses (pbuh) was taking refuge in Median. Rameses II’s son Merneptah who succeeded him as Pharaoh drowned during the exodus. In 1898, the mummified body of Merneptah was found in the valley of Kings in Egypt.

I had my last period during the week of April 23 and it was normal. I was late picking up my birth control pills due to insurance issues and did not start the pack until the week of May 7th. So I missed a week of pills. I had unprotected sex with my bf on the 10th of May and I had an unusual amount of discharge several days before we had sex and after (sorry tmi) Since then I have been having pregnancy symptoms headaches, fatigue, sore and swollen breasts and have just felt pregnant but some symptoms have seemed to subside some except the enlarged breasts. I started my period on the 28th of May when I took the "sugar pills" but I only bleed for a day and it was not consistent with my normal flow....much lighter in flow and color and sticky like discharge (sorry again tmi). My bf and I will welcome a child. Is there a chance that I could be pregnant? Has anyone had this happen before?

Serious answers only please!

Many people claim that the Bible is a great source of morality, but surely one of the most immoral acts one can commit is slavery. The Bible makes numerous references to slavery, one of the most abhorrent being Exodus 21:20-21, regarding beating slaves. Another passage, from the New Testament, is Ephesians 6:5-9, in which Paul instructs slaves to follow closely their masters' orders. It should have been blatantly obvious to the writers of the Bible, if they had a higher morality than those surrounding them, that it is utterly wrong to use your fellow man as farm equipment against his will. Why does the Bible favor slavery so, when it is so obvious to most people living today that slavery is wrong? Why didn't Jesus speak out about slavery?

This is just my opinion. (Im interested in Cryptozoology. I find it facinating and very fun.) I think the Jersey devil does exist, BUT I dont think its a cursed child. Perhaps its just a demon, litterally. (-and the reason I say "just" is because Im religious and I believe that angels are around and spirits constantly, and so are demons... so... if angels were seen before, why not demons?)
Thats just what I think... But I want to know what others think because like cryptozoology, I also find others opinions interesting.

I was pondering that question this morning and couldn't think of a single one. Even the vaunted Greeks with their original democratic ideas were the product of many years of war. It would seem that the idea of peace, especially on a global level, is one that is more of a utopian dream than reality.

The impression I have is that those who preach peace are granted the ability to do that via the hard fights of others and have always been a minor subset of society. Not to say that it isn't a wholly desirable thing, but it doesn't seem to be a realistic way to think.

The democracy under the constitution comes this way. We are a Republic of Representative Government via election process by public voters! Yet the entire process is a sham/faked like a smoke & mirror show! You the public have no means to verify you votes like you might your bank account!

I was just wondering, I know that breeding pure breed dogs is good money, but how much does it cost to have a pregnant dog and to have the puppies and actually care for them untill they are sold? There are doctors visits, shots,food....and personal time to care for them! After they are sold, do you actually just break even or make more?

I have been a police officer for twenty-five years and from experience I know that people will call the police for just about anything. During my time as an officer I have never gotten a single call for any type of 'Supernatural activity' nor have any other officers that I know. I have read a lot about the supernatural (things such as ghosts or paranormal activity) and it just seems, according to people who believe in such things anyway, that this type of activity happens and is reported quite frequently. It seems strange that if such things actually do happen that the police would be the first to know. My question is; are there any officers that have ever had a call for of supernatural activity and if so what happened and what did it actually turn out to be?

To believers of any religion who claim they have a personal relationship with God I have a few questions to help me better understand this relationship.

Do you actually hear God? If so what has He (or She) said to you?

Have you seen visions of God outside of dreaming?

When things go wrong or bad in your life do you see it as a sign or a test from God, or just something went wrong?

I've tried everything... Even REVLON Colorstay WONT stay on my eyes. I apply eye liner ONLY to the inner rim of my lower lashes to give them that cat like effect. But it always ALWAYS ends up under my eyes by the end of the day. I just want it to STAY where I put it. Also if you can recommend the best mascar too, that would be great. Thanks

What I would like to do is pump milk - put it in the refridgerator - then at the end of the day put it in the freezer for when I go back to work. Is this okay? Everything I have read shows to freeze milk to put it into the freezer right away.

(The reason I want to do it at the end of the day is in case I need to give some to my son)
