My bf and I have been waiting for the right time (financially) to get married and feel like that time is soon. I've been planning that day ever since I was young and had my dream ceremony location in mind and everyone knew about it, including my brother's fiancee. But after they were engaged she asked me if she could have it there. How could she put me on the spot and ask me that? I said yes but inside I was screaming no. She should have known how I felt, that this place was off limits, and she shouldn't have asked at all! It's every girl's dream to have her wedding day be special! So after a week of sleepless nights, I told them I didn't want them to have it there but she said she'd already put down a deposit. I was upset by this but what's worse is that I don't feel like she cares. She didn't even give me an apology, my brother had to say sorry for her. I feel bad putting him through this but I feel like my wedding will not be special anymore. Am I wrong? Is there anything I can do?

PLEASE READ ALL THIS INFO BEFORE ANSWERING THE QUESTION!!!

I'm designing the wiring for my new house and with all the electrical appliances in the office (computer etc) is there not a 4 gang plug socket on the market instead of having to install two 2 gang sockets next to eachother?!? If not why not!

Or am i just not looking hard enough?!?

For the record - I have searched for various 4 gang sockets and have found a thing called a 1 or 2 gang converter to a 4 gang socket but this is useless... a) It sticks out of the wall by 25mm!! b) That means it'll look stupid! and c) It's not the correct solution to my problem!

Someone mentioned to me a system using smaller slimline plugs... has anyone seen or heard of this?

My girlfriend who I have been with for a year doesn't want me to come to her sons birthday party. She doesn't want me to come because his father will be there and their divorce isn't final yet. She said this party is about her son and not about anything else. I love this little boy like my own son. I love his mother so much that I want to propose to her as soon as she is divorced. She said it will be a slap in the face to her husband because we were together before they seperated. I know this is his daddy but I don't know how she can just tell me I am not welcomed. I have helped plan this party and now I am not welcome. I don't know if I am asking for too much. I have a daughter and I would never stop her from coming to her birthday party no matter who was there or what the circumstances are. I don't know how to handles this situation...I love her and I love her son....but I have never felt so heartbroken in my life.

The answer is yes indeed. Througout human history many wars have been started by religious fanatics who believe that somehow they have the power to change the future away from God's plan as outlined in Scripture and Gospel. Actually in doing so they bring about fulfillment of God's plan.
This is very evident in presesent world conflict.

I graduated college in 2004 from Iowa with an elementary education degree. After that I applied for jobs everywhere from Colorado to North Carolina, and I heard nothing back except for a few rejection letters. I now live in Indiana and I still can't find a job. I am willing to relocate, but every state has their certain requirements for new teachers making it sooo difficult to find a job. Does anyone out there share my frustrations or have any advice for me??

If you were to add a person to another's credit card that is in good standings to improve their credit rating, how would that process work? Do they have to go thru the same approval process (credit approval, etc) or do you the authorized user just have to request that they be added to the account?

I check the animal shelter all the time, but they only have really big dogs. I love big dogs, but I refuse to get a big dog unless I have a big yard. I'm wanting to get a chihuahua or something small like that. Is it morally wrong to get a dog from a breeder? I know it's bad to go to pet stores. I also check the paper too to see if anyone has dogs, like that they can't take care of anymore.

just curious - our american gov. always preaches that they are separate but they clearly arent completely : "in god we trust" on the money, "under god" in the pledge, no gay marriage, etc. im christian but i think all these should be changed. there needs to be no evidence of religion in state affairs...YES WE ALL KEEP HEARING THE SAME SHITTY STORY : american was founded under christianity blah blah blah...it was also founded on inequality and degredation for women, slavery, racism, imperialism, killing ppl for their land, etc. so are all these okay as well? point blank - we want a government. not a ******** church. as far as public school goes - its the same. im inprivate school but from what i hear from my friends there needs to be a course that educates students about several religions but doesnt encourage the membership of any; hearing ppl say things like "muslims are all terrorists" makes me want to hit ppl : (
