The fact that Christians - who follow the teachings of a man who spent most of his personal (non-sermonizing) time exclusively with other men, who never had sexual intercourse with a woman, and whose closest female friend was an "actress" - revile and condemn homosexuality seems hilariously hypocritical. In light of the time in which he lived, being an asexual, unmarried late 20 something would have been seriously aberrant, as would seducing the sons of the villages and locales he visited to follow him off into the wilderness. Of all Christian writers, he would be the one you would expect to be most vehemently opposed to homosexuality, and yet it's a point he remains silent on. All rote, tradition, and religious hysteria aside, - seriously, does no one else see the possible irony?

If God is all knowing and powerful then at the begganing of time he already had a list of people going to Hell which doesnt sound all mercifull when you dont have a choice.

Also I use to hate and let me relitterate HATE gay people but thanks to a very good friend I relized the error of my ways and now one of the best friends is lesbian but the reason I hated them was because the Bible says being gay is bad but you dont choose who you are attracted to you are just attracted so why would God make Gay people and say hay you are a sinner?

I have been reading up on Lexapro on the internet and nearly every comment is negative. I have been prescribed it for depression and am feeling better already although I have only been on it for 5 days (10mg). I am reading stuff like weight gain, electric shock feelings in your head, etc. Does anyone have anything positive about Lexapro as now I'm quite scared about taking this drug. I hate the feeling I have when I am not on it though. Am I doing the wrong thing taking this. Help very unsure now. I know it affects everyone different, but I am really looking for some good stories to even out my feelings now of doubt to continue with the medication.

Does anyone think that Brad Radke should be in the Hall of Fame. He might not have all the numbers but he was on a horrible team for years and he had injuries as well. It is hard to argue against him being on of the best control pitchers over the last 25 years. He hardly walked anybody.

It was the worst decision I've/we've ever made. I am 27 and he is 29 and we wanted kids, but in a couple years, as our jobs our demanding and we wanted to travel before having a baby. We thought long and hard, and adoption would've been impossible b/c I hear once you see your baby you can't give him/her up.

So, we decided on abortion. I didn't feel anything after the procedure was finished, even a week after I felt nothing.But recently (it's been about 2 months since) I've been immensly depressed, as has my husband.

We don't even communicate anymore, and he has continously been taking days off of work, he cries occasionally. We haven't had sex since, not even kissed, barely even touched each other.

So, I'm asking, what can we do? I can't imagine counseling would make things better. I can't fathom that anyone knows how terrible we feel. I had not the slightest clue an abortion would take such a mental toll on BOTH of us.

Please help. Thanks.
