Makeup would be the easiest way to cover it up. A nice, thick concealer topped with some power would work wonders. BUT you said no makeup... I have a great tip for you, though =] You know those eye drops that get red of redness?? Well, it works great for hiding acne redness =] I use it whenever I get a zit. If you actually have acne, though, instead of just dabbing it on, get a cotton ball and soak it a little with the eye drops. Then, put it in the freezer and wait about ten minutes, so that it gets nice and cold. The eye drops stop the redness in the acne, and the cold relieves the swelling. Hope this helped!

Wash your face with honey and baking soda (mixed together), rinse, pat dry. Then, use apple cider vinegar as a toner (if it's too strong, dilute 50/50 with water, then put on cotton ball and spread on face, let air dry). You can use coconut oil or even olive oil (very little) as a moisturizer afterwards.
It'll take a few days until you notice a difference - your skin will have to adjust. Constantly switching/trying new things will keep your skin irritated and mess up your natural ph balance which your face will be going crazy trying to fix . . .

Face pack for acne prone skin would be of honey (1 tsp) with 1/2 (tsp) of cinnamon powder. Apply for 15 minutes. Due to the antiseptic properties, bacterial infections in the skin are treated. More home remedies available at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html

Crush an aspirin tablet, mix with a little water, and apply it to your acne overnight. Honey, with a bandaid covering it, also works. Or apple cider vinegar, or all of these

(don't know if they work though, but the aspirin mixture worked for me)
