The problem is Cos^-1 (-1)
In my book, it solves like this
Let v = Cost^-1 (-1)
Then cos v = -1 and 0
But what i don't get is where did they get the pi answer. Where did the pi come from?
Another problem is Cos^-1 0 = pi/2
Again, where pi/2 comes from?
If someone could help me clarify this, it would help me a lot.

i just installed windows vista & my sound doesn't work...?
it says "no audio output device is installed."
so i tried going to windows update but it didn't help.
then i tried going to run... & opening the directx diagnostic tool to find out the name of my sound card. but it said "no sound card was found. if one is expected, you should install a sound driver provided by the hardware manufacturer."
what does that mean!?
everything was fine before i installed windows vista, but i do NOT want to uninstall it & go back to windows xp because that would be a big waste of time... :(
so how can i fix this problem? PLEASE HELP! it would be MUCHM U C HMUCH appreciated! thanks!

When I was a teenager, I visited a Catholic church, a Fundamentalist church, a mainstream Protestant Church, a Hindu temple, a Buddhist shrine, and a Muslim mosque. I traveled a lot and my parents wanted me to experience and understand other cultures. Most people never have such opportunities and may not even want to do such a thing anyway. However, I found it very enriching to understand how people think and what they believe. Would the world be better off if everyone learned about the major world religions?
