Yes. No one else will even look at me. (I'm terribly unattractive. Look at my name!! [häβlich] -Means "Ugly" in German.) I talk to myself when I'm in the shower. I talk to myself when I go for walks. I talk to myself in bed. I talk to myself when I eat. I have no one else to talk to. My cat won't even let me pet her, anymore, and even though I used to talk to her, I can't anymore. No one even wants to be around me. They say that I'm too negative, and that I'm ugly, and fat. They all judge me, and I don't want it anymore. I am all I have.

I talk to myself usually when I've been alone for several hours, or I talk "to" my dogs (which is basically talking to myself). I also talk to myself when I am really concentrating on doing something, such as a set of math problems or playing a computer game. talking to yourself can kind of be a role-playing game in a way; it's a way to pass the time sometimes.

It's not a very productive habit, although perhaps it has benefits. I talk to the Father and I talk to the Son with the most amazing results.

I prefer to think of it as thinking out loud. And when talking to others I have to admit I can't wait to hear whats gonna come out of my mouth next.

I think it's just human to do so... breaks up the silence when alone and I often 'think out-loud', especially if I'm in the middle of some project...I think it helps me think it through better.

Sometimes when I'm really stressed out. I think it gives my brain another venue to work out problems, and by actually saying something, it sticks in my brain longer than it would ordinarily.

I don't do it everyday, though. I don't think.

When I'm really busy, I talk to myself to stay focused. I also answer myself and sometimes I scold myself. I've tried to tell jokes to myself, but somehow "Knock, Knock,.......well, that just doesn't work well with one person.

I talk to my computer. It seems to talk back (with words on the screen).

Who am I talking to right now?
