If God is all knowing and powerful then at the begganing of time he already had a list of people going to Hell which doesnt sound all mercifull when you dont have a choice.
Also I use to hate and let me relitterate HATE gay people but thanks to a very good friend I relized the error of my ways and now one of the best friends is lesbian but the reason I hated them was because the Bible says being gay is bad but you dont choose who you are attracted to you are just attracted so why would God make Gay people and say hay you are a sinner?

Belief in a religious system or a set of doctrines cannot save you.
The only thing that can save one is having a personal encounter with the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit. You must be born again, undergo a transformation in your inmost being, by believing in the Gospel of God, that he sent his Son from heaven to die on a cross for you, and that God raised Him from the dead. he is alive today, and whoever calls on the name of the Lord (Jesus) shall be saved.

The Bible identifies many activities as being sinful. Actually, the Bible tells us we are all sinners. We each have our sins. Why would you hate gay people because of the Bible? Sounds like you misinterpreted it. Didn't Jesus tell us that God is the judge? How about loving you neighbor as yourself? Does it say to love your sinless neighbor as yourself? NO. Then you could love nobody. The Bible does not tell anyone to hate gay people. We are not to judge anyone. We are to try to avoid committing sin and help others to do the same. "All of you be harmonious, sympathetic, brotherly, kind hearted and humble in spirit, not exchanging evil for evil or insult for insult but granting a blessing instead" Thats the Bible I know.

I am a christian - a strong christian - and i do not believe that gays are bad in anyway. I also dont believe in hell.
Your religion is not what a book tells you but what you have in your heart and what you logic tell you.
Personally - existance is far to big a miracle - life is far to big a miracle - for me not to believe in a loving and caring god that is beside me right now.
Pray - even if it seems stupid - pray to god to give you faith. And never stop trying for it. I have had to really struggle with my faith at time. It just seemed so hard. But i am now proud to say that i am a firm believer in a loving and caring god and in most parts of the new testement as well as parts of the old.
Remember - the bible was man trying to interpret the word of god - it is not necessarily gods word.
You will know gods word when you hear it =) Keep on trying girl ... i know you can do it :-) God loves you and always will

If you have knowledge that I am about to commit a sin, say cheat on my wife.. Are in any way taking my will away from because you know about it? How does knowing that someone will sin take away the sinners free will? He will do what he wills knowledge is not force.. Hate, why did you ever hate. While we were yet sinners Jesus died for us.. Does that sound like hate? Gays, I have nothing to say about their lifestyle if they are not in the Church. It's none of my business. If they were in the Church I would be commanded to make a judgment but then to see them as unbelievers so again as long as they refused to obey God they would be looked at as unbelievers.. That isn't hate, it would be the same if again I were cheating and made it know to you a member of the Church I wanted to continue in my sin.. OUT I GO!! Even if people were created as gay it doesn't excuse the sin. I was born like girls. I can't just go around having sexual contact with ant woman who is willing.. I have to make the flesh subservient to my new spirit God created in me when I excepted Christ as Savior. You see, when I did that I also made Him my Lord... I hope this helps... Jim

I'm just going to address your statement ,not your paragraph.
The lose of faith is a result of believed actions that are taken that were not effective. We lose the belief that our actions make a difference. When we keep trying and reap no results we begin to lose hope and without hope there can be no faith.
Without Love there can be no Hope.
Behavior is learned, behavior is perceived though our zodiac sign. There is a natural purpose you believe that you serve and somehow it has been frustrated by the actions you are taking. The actions you are taking are not reinforcing your purpose in life you are heading towards depression. Focus on positive things you can do.
The 1st thing you can give is love. This will purify your soul because love can't be faked nor can it exist with hate.

The Bible does not say to hate anyone.
I have probably more gay friend then straight ones. I am the token Christian more often then not.
They know I do not agree with their lifestyle, but I accept them as a person, and realize that though it do not necessarily agree with their actions, they are no more a sinner then I am.
I do not condone them, but I accept them for the person on the inside.

there are more ways of approaching God than exclusive, Bible-based tactics.
try looking into other faiths, and speaking to God in your own words, asking Him to help you in your relationships with others and with Him. i truly believe that God would not condemn anyone to hell for the myriad of reasons some religious folks give (sexual orientation, denomination, etc.)
imo there are diverse faiths on this earth for a reason- we are of different spiritual temperments and will approach God in different ways.

It perhaps that God does not desire you to have what you desire or will basically supply it to you in His time not yours. many human beings of religion are examined, this perhaps your try. I even have known many human beings by the years that have drifted into and out of religion. faith seems to come returned and decide for many.

The bible was written by men thousands of years ago and at the time being gay was taboo. Basically the bible is outdated.
