A Christian who goes to church weekly and has read the bible could kill twenty people. In the end, if he begs God for forgiveness, and is sorry, he can die and go to Heaven.

An Atheist, Pagan, etc. can be the kindest person in the world. They can give money to charities, adopt homeless children, give free food to the homeless, and be a perfectly kind person... and will go to Hell?

I can't take it. I have no idea what religion I am, but because of this, I'm afraid to look into anything. Since I was little I was taught the bible was true, and now I'm afraid I'm going to Hell for every little thing.

Honestly, I have no idea what to do. There are so many religions I want to look into, but I'm afraid.

And, honestly, I can hardly call myself a Christian, because I never looked into anything, and don't know what I believe. So now I'm stuck confused and annoyed.

if high gasoline prices cause people to start finding alternate transportaion to and from work (mass transit, car pool, bicycle, walk) it certainly will cut down some on environmental pollution won't it? maybe its a godsend

I live in Michigan's economy and moving is not an option, so there are not a lot of jobs available.

If you had a choice, which of the two jobs would you choose and why?

Choice A is a job that you can excel at personally, pays well, but leaves little or no time for family, and is the first job you have ever had where it was the perfect fit for your job skills and abilities and your boss loves your work. However the job requires well over the amount of time promised and involves evening and weekend hours. Note that you can't adjust the hours.

or

Choice B - is a high demand corporate america job that is 9-5 Monday through Friday. Lower pay, but would allow time for family with no weekends or evening hours. But the job has too much demands to it and you are worried whether you can even succeed at this type of work (been there done that).
.
Which job would you choose, especially if you don't want to job hop?

Okay I am Jewish and I was resarching my religion and I wondering..if most Jews believe Jesus was a man but he did not change the realationship between man and god then who do Jews believe started Christinaity? From my understanding Jesus thought he was the leader of the Jews but then some Jews didnt like him as the leader so a part of the Jews broke off and started their own religion which now is Jeduaism and the people that stayed and followed Jesus started Christinaity. Okay so who do the Jews believe started Christinaity, if they think Jesus had nothing to do with religion? Sorry if I misspelled something.

I assume the Primary Care Trusts that the McCanns work for are still paying them their £250,000 a year combined salaries on compassionate leave? Nice. Quite a gravy train of First Class traval and 24/7 hotel room service. Not forgetting the odd trip out for a tapas. Best get a baby-sitter, though. "To lose one child, Mrs. McCann, may be regarded as misfortune....". Innit.

Can twins have Down's syndrome? The reason I ask this is because there is a programme on TV (Eastenders) that has a baby who has it. Usually for babies they get twins to act so that the babies get a break. It got me thinking that I have never seen twins with the condition. And if they can be twins... do both get it or does one have it and the other is "normal"?

I feel like the most horrible person in the world for smoking while pregnant.
It does me no good to hear women who didn't smoke while pregnant tell me how bad for the baby it is (I'm an educated person, so if you are one of these people, keep it to yourself).
It does me even worse to hear women who DID smoke tell me that everything turned out fine. In fact, no woman I know who smoke while pregnant (or the ones on 'answers') who have had complications.
SO... I'd like to hear from all 'smokers while pregnant'. My goal is to find out how many people out there DID have complications and what they were. Maybe this will cause me to STOP.

Yesterday, my car battery died in a parking lot. Eventually, I was able to borrow a jump box and at least get my car home. Today, I went outside to start it and its dead again!

When I turn the ignition, there is a slight clicking noise- so I know its doing something? Was the jump box not good enough and do I need someone to give me a jump? Is there anything else it could be?? My car has been running fine, otherwise(though it is due for an oil change in about another 500 miles, as well as its 60,000 mile tune up)

If it helps, my car is a 2001 Ford Mustang.

Please Help!
