Okay I am Jewish and I was resarching my religion and I wondering..if most Jews believe Jesus was a man but he did not change the realationship between man and god then who do Jews believe started Christinaity? From my understanding Jesus thought he was the leader of the Jews but then some Jews didnt like him as the leader so a part of the Jews broke off and started their own religion which now is Jeduaism and the people that stayed and followed Jesus started Christinaity. Okay so who do the Jews believe started Christinaity, if they think Jesus had nothing to do with religion? Sorry if I misspelled something.

I personally believe in God as a Jewish person becuse Jews thought of God as one and the Christians belive he was three things: the father, the son, and the holy spirit. Therfore I believe he was only one so there is no father, son, and holy spirit to me. He is one.

There is no official position on Jesus in Judaism. He is not mentioned in the Talmud at all- in fact, the only mention of anyone named Yeshua (the hebrew form of Jesus) is oin reference to a heretic from between two hundred and three hundred years before the time of the events taught by the Christians relating to his life.
The Jews continued worshipping with a tiny minority believing in Jesus. All aspects of Judaism continued unbroken until the destruction of the Seconf Temple in 70 CE and the move of the Sanhedrin to Yavneh. Around 150 CE the Rabbis kicked the Christians out of the shuls as they had moved too far from Judaism to be considered Jews anymore.

Jews tend to think that there may have been a radical Jewish teacher around that time who may have been named Yehoshuah.
You have the rest of it backwards. Christianity broke off from Judaism, not the other way around. Jesus was never a leader of the Jews, most Jews of the time had never heard of him at all.
Textually, it seems that Jesus never intended to start a new religion, just to shake up the old one a little. It was a good 20-30 years after his death (if he ever lived) before we see any indications towards a new religion. His followers, or someone claiming to be his followers, were the ones who started Christianity.

Jesus never really made an impact on Judaism. He was most likely the leader of a small sect within Judaism.
It was only after Paul modified the religion and began preaching his version to Non-Jews that it took off.
So the impact on Judaism has been mostly negative, because the Christians perceive the Jews as rejecting Jesus, when most of them at the time had likely never heard of him.
The Gospels are reconstructions created by non-Jews who weren't even familiar with the names of the cities in Judea, which is why they got so many of them wrong.
Jesus wasn't from Nazareth, he was a Nazorean or Nazarene, which is partly why he is depicted as having long hair like Samson. Judas wasn't from Iscariot or Keryoth, he was a Sicariot, meaning a member of the Zealot sect, Sicarii. The non-Jewish Christians were so unfamiliar with Judea and the Jewish religion they couldn't even get that much of it right.

Jews believe Jesus started Christianity but they do not recognize Christianity as the true religion. Jews acknowledge that Jesus Christ did exist, but not that he was the son of God. They believe he was just a mortal man.
Jews believe Judaism is the only true religion.
The first and last books of the bible (Genesis and Revelation) discuss how Jesus came through the descendants of the twelve tribes of Israel and that there is a special place in God's plan for the Jews as a holy people.

I, as a Jew, can tell you that In many years of religious studies, no one has ever indicated a thing about jesus to me. There is NO "official" view of jesus in Judaism. I see no evidence he even really existed. I think paul made the stories up with his buddies, to get the Romans to buy into his new religion, which they eventually did..

They do believe that he started Christianity, but they do not believe that Christianity is the fulfillment of their covenant with God. Rather, it's more of an incorrect detour, to be polite.
EDIT: WOW. I vote Father Guido as best answer. I didn't know all that.

The entire torah, prophets and writings known to us christians as the Old Testament or the Hebrew scriptures point to Jesus christ as the expect messiah. There are hundreds of scriptures prophesying this. However because of traditions of men and commentary by Jewish scholars this has been obscured by a series of commentaries and these are held in greater credence than the bible. If you really wish to know then ask a genuine Bible student who would only be happy to fill you in.

They don't believe Jesus was the savior. Jews don't believe in God. because if you don't believe in the son, how can you believe in the father?
