if high gasoline prices cause people to start finding alternate transportaion to and from work (mass transit, car pool, bicycle, walk) it certainly will cut down some on environmental pollution won't it? maybe its a godsend

We just bought a fuel efficient car not really thinking of gas prices, but more the environment!

A bit of unintended consequences - some (myself included) plan on putting more miles on their motorcycles this summer than their cars or trucks due to greater fuel economy, but most motorcycles actually produce more emissions than modern cars or trucks (no catalytic converter on most motorcycles in the US, many bikes are carbureted, etc).

You need to learn more about all the tons of pollution modern industry pours into the air everyday, they're the biggest culprits...

I AGREE WITH ANSWER 1 IF WE ALL RECYCLED AND TRIED TO HELP OUT THE WORLD WOULD BE A BETTER PLACE I MEAN THINK OF THE NEW GENERATION THAT WILL COME ALONG JUST THINK OF HOW BAD THEY WILL HAVE TO SUFFER
