well do they have like a usb thing u could put on ur labtop so that u could pick up a wireless signal for the internet where ever u are therefore u wouldnt have to go to a nearby hotspot like starbucks just to get wireless acess

I got my "award letter" from my school yesterday, and I was denied any grants. I am about to be 18 in a couple weeks, and will be leaving my mom's house, and will have little to no financial help from her or other family members.
I had to use her tax information to fill it out, because technically i am still her dependant.
My mom is unable to help me pay for much, her income is very low (less than 20,000) and I am working only part-time. So basically I will have no money for school, unless I take out a loan, which I would like to do as a last resort.
I did apply for some scholarships, but many were need-based, and will also use those same FAFSA results.

Last year I was awarded more than enough to pay for school. My income did not change, and my moms went up less than 1,000. which is not enough to cover school.
is there any action i can take to have my application re-evaluated with out using my mom's financial information?

l'm not saying l don't feel for them, l do, but l think it's unfair to want your cake and eat it too. Just because you had the baby, if you choose not to keep it, it's not yours any longer. Some birthmothers keep act like they have a stake in that child's life and they don't, they're not the parents anymore.

There are many 'four letter words' that earn kids a mouthful of soap. At the same time we live in a society where there are people starving, people dying of preventable disease, people dying from untreated illness due to lack of insurance, people losing their homes due to unsavory credit practices, and rampant profiteering by corporations (medication, military and 'planned obsolescence'). They only paid a 3 % tax, and they were willing to die to change it. We pay 50 to 70 % of our pay for taxes. (income tax, employment tax, sales tax, utility tax, etc., etc.)

Before we had these taxes we were the richest country in the world w/ 'Zero' debt. Now China buys most of our debt and owns 'lots' of America.
