Not really no. Especially if you have kind of interacted with others for a long time and gotten used to their likes and dislikes, ways of writing and expressing themselves, interracting with other people etc..
I know most will never meet ever in real life.
But let's see, I compare it a bit to the case of teachers who have to grade evaluation papers whithout even knowing the people who wrote the essays. There will be the boring ones, the lengthy ones full of verbose, the badly written papers, the "let's get straight to the point" ones, the intelligent and less so ones, the witty ones.....and as we all know teachers kind of grade according to their own personality and viewpoints also.
You can get glimpses of personalities .

Am I clear..?

OK..that does not deserve a pass though...:-)

Edit...and you have the cheaters..Can I plagiarise Doloresa's comment ??:-)

Even when you meet people "in the flesh" most of what you think you "know" about them is only really an impression and it is easy to attribute to them or project onto them certain characteristics which you WANT them to have. For example, you meet a good-looking guy and, of course, you WANT him to be nice because you've already starting thinking ahead ... You start to build up in your mind a "personality" for him based on the few facts and the few impressions at your disposal. Hey presto! You come up with a "nice guy" when, in fact, you really know next-to-nothing about him.
Having said that, we do have instincts, we do have sense and we can recognise something in another person (or another soul, if that is what you want to call it) which draws us to them or repels us. As for Y/A, I think it IS possible to build up an accurate enough impression of someone through their answers (i.e. what they say, how they express it, what attitude they demonstrate, their consistency, etc.) in order to form a liking or disliking ..... BUT that is only if one can trust the honesty of those answers at their face value ... and that takes us back to the beginning!

Not weird at all; people's personality tend to come through very very very clear on here. Stupidity and being a jerk is the same in real world as the internet world.

No, it's the same as how you like like/dislike characters out of a book, TV rpogramme or film.

Some people tend to live their lives by acting them out vicariously, by either being over involved with soap operas, various forms of media and obviously internet sites.
If somebody disagrees with their thoughts or opinions, even though it`s total anonimity, they construe it as an attack or assault on their ego.
And can certainly feel quite 'wounded'.

So just who do you like/dislike on P&S?

I like most people here, those I don't like I pity. They are the ones who don't enter into the community spirit.

Yes. I think it depends on their questions and answers. Some people sound ignorant and weird just in the things they say

Yah! You've never met them in your life and probably never will, and you can suddenly know if you like/dislike them.
