I don't think the government should be telling us who we should or shouldn't marry.
Besides, the government doesn't seem to care about enforcing the laws on marriage. Do they prosecute adulterers? Is premarital sex punishable by law? If your wife runs away, will the police go get her and bring her back? No? so why are there laws against bigamy or polygamy?

I think relationships are hard enough without bringing 1, 2, 3 or 4 more people into the picture. Seems the man receives all the benefits and the women are left dealing with all the emotional garbage. It’s unfair, unnatural and destructive.

I think its weird, I think its wrong, I think its freakish. Utah is a beautiful place though. Its a very nice place to live, nice ppl and huge mountains and great summer weather. Plus, lots a snow skiing and lots of other things to do. BUT...It IS a Mormon state though.*

that reminds me of a joke. a 5 year old boy asks his dad what polygamy was and the dad says 1 wife to many. then the boy asks what monogamy was and the dad says same thing.

Hell Yeah....but I'll be leaving for California after 6 months......I don't have an opinion because i think as long as it doesn't hurt anyone...there is no foul.

I don't think it should matter if people want to practice polygamy, as long as they are not involving young girls or children. I think they should not wear little house on the prarie clothes. Yuck

I think that if a guy really has mutiple women that are of consenting age wanting to marry him, he should be able to. If he wants to marry 5 13 year olds then he should go to prison.
