to the on person who asked the campground will be in sautee ga ,bordering nationial forest. was also thinking on Deer Woods Rustic campground , with the tent sites being way out in the woods and the RV being clustered together in one area. and the cabins going up the side of a mountain.

Not a theme but small (reasonably priced) cabins. Swimming, and a clean bathroom. Also I would have a place for ppl who want to use tents or come in R.V's. so you would need open areas with electrical hook-ups.
You might want to also be around a lake and could offer canoe rentals. And ppl would be able to fish.

That sounds great! People love Lots of stuff! even if they didn't use it. (which they will. didn't worry you aren't wasting your $) Nice bathrooms are a turn on for me! Cabins are good but don't have too many of them mabey like 3-4 you want the people who are in them to feel special. Stables would be the best thing ever! whenever I bring my horses, they have to be outside all night because there is never any stables. Swimming's awesome , are you talking about a pool or by the river or lake?? Some little things that are important for me are drinking fountains around the campground and next to the fountains are dog bowls so the dogs can drink water too. I've ALWAYS wanted campgrounds to put dog houses in the individual sites, so the dogs didn't have to be on the ground. PRIVACY!! I hate going camping and looking directly at the people around me. have some trees around each site. there's so much more but i have to go. Nice idea. I'd love to open up my own. but I never will so have fun!!!

whether you make it a simple or a fancy campground, i suggest placing the RV section away from the tent section. the places i enjoyed camping most were mainly or only for tent camping (one in brugge, belgium, and another in amsterdam). the place in amsterdam (camping zeeburg) had a store with food and some camping supplies.
also, internet would be a plus for some, and perhaps even a certain area with wifi access. if you try to have it all, place your tent area on the side your grounds with the nature, and place all those fancy activities on the other side with the RVs, placing the office in the middle. i wouldn't go near a themed campground. the only time i didn't mind camping in a tent with the RVs around was at the kerrville folk festival, but that's a special circumstance.

I just went to a campground that describes everything above and I HATED IT. electricity, trailers, cars, bathrooms, running water, cabins, TENNIS....jesus it wasn't even like camping...it was probably more luxurious than camping out in my own house.

as a kid growing up my family were always going camping.and i think it would be great if there were electricity outlets, great trails and a lake. things for younger people to do and private sections for people.clean bathrooms are a must.maybe a facility for games and such.maybe even an outdoor theater for movies in the evenings .and i also think a small store on the premisis for the people that may have forgotten to bring items they need would be nice.thank you for your question.have a great time planning your camping facility .where would it be located?

A roaring fire and some acoustic guitars. Good beer. Swimming and fancy bathrooms sound nice also.
