Ive been playing for five years and have never took any lessons or read any books. Because of this there is alot of stuff that I do not know, for example it took me five years to learn basic chords and notes. Recently I have gotten "stuck" I seem to just play the same stuff over and over again, not really learning anything new. Has this happened to you, and what did you do to get over it?

At my old job, you often see new workers come in all the time. A new girl caught my eye. She stuck out from the powder puff glitsy chicks there, she had her own "Smoke a cig and make it hot" steez. One day i made my move while walking down a hallway by asking her how she liked it at the new job and she says "Its pretty okay" with a smile. I said "thats good, hope i see you around", then she says "yeah i would like that". Days later she wore a Jamaican t-shirt, since that is where my parents are from. i asked her part she was from. I then asked her how old she was and she said 24. im shock cuz i was only 19 at the time. So i was intrigued. i like older girls. The next day, i wrote her a not saying "why do you have to have a boyfriend" and she writes back "why did it take so long to meet you". We flirted more and more. She told me she broke up with her boyfriend but still lives with him (temporarily) and was happy to go out with me. Days after she became distant towards me. wat went bad?

I have a 2 year old daughter who LOVES to watch tv. She especially likes "Little Einstein", "Kipper", and "Dora". I know that letting your toddlers watch tv is not a good thing, but how much is too much. My husband works really long hours and there are times when I will put on a 25min show so I can get some stuff done around the house (cooking, laundry, etc) since she is a very clingy child and will otherwise not let me do much. I will usually give her puzzles or crayons while shes watching the show and try to get as much done while I can. I do this about 2-3 times a day. Is this too much tv for her? She is very smart for her age, she is very verbal, loves books, puzzles, drawing, etc.

Many adults today say "Children today have no morals."

The things our children learn are a direct result of what we teach them. If we want them to have morals, maybe we should teach them in school. Surely it would be a better use of time than teaching them to finger paint, play kickball, and sing "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" in harmony.

Atheists will acknowledge that morality has nothing to do with religion, so the "seperation of church and state" should not be used as an excuse for keeping such a class out of public schools.

On the other hand, Christians and other theists seem resistant to discussing morality without the involvement of relgion. Is their reluctance to admit that morality can exist outside of religion the true reason morality is not taught in schools?

If Christians want to live in a society with both morality and "the seperation of church and state," then shouldn't they be willing to consider that fact that morality can be based on more than just faith?

All of a sudden we have a houseflies appearing out of nowhere. I kill 10, 12 more appear. Doors and windows are all closed. Any ideas on what could be the cause, and what we can do to eliminate them? We are clean folks and don't have decaying food sitting around and all the flies are clinging to windows wanting to escape.

My husband works hard and long hours outside of the home at a disgusting job so that I may have the luxury of only working part-time in the home so I can continue with college and be home with our daughters. When he finally gets a long weekend, like this one, he sometimes wants to do things with friends. For example, today he went to the park with his friends to play basketball. I met my sister at the pool with our kids. When she found out he was off today, she's like "And you've got the kids? You ALWAYS have the kids. Why can't he take them on his day off?"

I have always looked at it that when he gets a day off, he should have it to do what he wants with it. I DO always have the kids, but I know if I ever asked him, he'd take them for the day. I just don't see the point in making him spend his day off chasing babies when I don't really mind doing it.

Am I right??

Will this bring down the price of our original Vinyl Records?
What do you think?
I spoke to another collector I know today about this subject, but I wanted more opinions then just us two. Both of us have original records from the 60's and 70's and he has originals from before this....

Will collectors still want the original vinyl, or the "remakes"?
