In "True Grit" he had an eye patch, but I don't remember one where he was blind.

True Grit is where he wears an eye patch, I don't think there was ever a movie where was blind all together though.

His character was blind in one eye in the movie True Grit and its sequel Rooster Cogburn. But I do not remember any in which he was blind in both.
