My wife and I have gotten to the point where I am on the verge of getting my two cars repossessed. Recently I got my income lowered by $20000 a year and my debt exceeds my income. I am behind on my morgage in which I am paying out of each pay period to get it caught up because I do not want to lose my house but the other debts suffer because of this. What do I do about the threat of my cars eventually being repossessed? What other choices do I have besides bankruptcy? Can someone point my in the right direction?

Galations 5

19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery,[c] fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders,[d] drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Now seeing as a lawyer earns money whilever he "practices" law. Are thos Christians who are practicing these sins above in danger of the hellfire?

seriously, i can't imagine that god doesn't have anything more important to do than worry about who's sleeping with whom, which gender they are, or if you have a little piece of paper from a minister called a marriage certificate before you do sleep with someone. what's the big deal?

I mean the President did get on TV on Sept. 11 and accuse Bin Ladin of attacking us then we should have gone after him instead. Is he trying to out-do his father or what? And what happen to the weapons of mass destruction that he said were in Iraq and his own people have found none and said there were NONE? Why has no one had the nerve to ask him at his news conferences these questions? I am an American Veteran and would love to know the answers to these questions.Thank You.

Wouldn't you really rather receive a compliment specifying what it is about you they like, ie, you're charming, kind, considerate, forgiving, etc.?

If I tell my husband something is hurting my feelings, he acts like I am ridiculous and says "wow, your in a bad mood today or where did that come from out of the blue..." and walks away as if he is dismissing my feelings - that makes it worse.

Am I being a big baby to think that it is normal for him to respond like - "oh, i'm sorry, I didn't know that was hurting your feelings", or since he didn't realize, make me feel like it is important to him that I don't have hurt feelings?

I've only been here in the U.S. for a few years, and I find it difficult to order from a restaurant because they usually ask a lot of questions. So I just sometimes order what's on the menu (or if there's a picture that I can see - much better!)

What do you you like to order at Quizno's Subs and how to order it? please list the exact steps (LoL), what you tell the person at the counter, and what usual questions do they ask etc...

I have too many to choose a favorite, but I love this one:

When I was growing up, my favorite uncle was Uncle Caveman. We called him Uncle Caveman because he lived in a cave, and every once in awhile, he'd eat one of us. Later, we found out he was a bear.

As a child of the 60s, I know EVERY generation rebels against the one before. The more repressed, the more violent the rebellion.

Now of course as a parent you want to protect your child from the evils of the world and pass on your values, ethics and traditions. But among "certain" groups there seems to be a fearful, desperation and isolation about it all. I am talking about the Jesus Camp people and those who home-school not to fix academic gaps but because they do not want their kids mixing with anyone or learning ANYTHING different.

Curiosity, doubt and a hunger to experience life are overwhelming urges and that is why those measures can only work for so long. Eventually, kids begin to understand that the world is far more complex and WILL ask “Why did you keep me ignorant in order to keep me obedient? What ARE you so afraid of?"

Isn't it going to create MORE atheists in the long run? Or when they rebel they might rebel against GOOD things as well as the bad?
