hi the lady, Hehehe...many times this is in a being concerned way..Like being someplace with a pair of friends and that i'm having relaxing and joking around and making My friends snort and one in all My friends says, " you're just to plenty My chum". this is in an extremely solid way..I continually smile whilst this takes place.. a chum, poppy1

Yes.. I often wonder when people use 'nice' if they really just mean the opposite.
I didn't have a 'nice' time.. I had a fantastic time or a terrible time.
The only way nice works is when it is drawn out like this.. niiiiiiccccceeee.. LOL

Yeah, I agree with you Billy. Nice is so blah. Saying someone is nice is the same as saying they are just there. You're nice, that car is nice... I don't care, but that's nice. The word could almost be insulting it is so overused.

Yes nice is too generic. I often challange my kids to write their thank you notes with out using the actual words Thank and You. Try, its not easy but it makes the note ever more thoughtful and personal.

i don't mind receiving "nice" as compliment, a compliment is compliment, with this crazy world we have right now, its kind of a blessing to received such compliments

Yeah, "nice" is basically just ... psh, who cares. Also it's a little bit insulting that "nice" is all they could really come up with, and doesn't it make you wonder if they really mean it or they are just sayin'?
