I think if they didn't shoot me they would throw me in jail, The media would not cover it, but if they did they would say something like some crazy minuteman was causing trouble. do you think they would they give me what i wanted, would they change laws for me, would they decide a new presidente based on my needs, no way.

Mai Khanh wants to measure the width of a river. She stretchesa 100-yard string parallel to the river along the ground. (The river is completely straight for these 100 yards.) Directly across the river from one end of the string is a tree on the riverbank. From the other end of the string, she sights to the tree and finds that the angle between the string and the line of sight to the tree is 35 degrees. What is the approximate width of the river?

My mother passed away in June of last year. She and my father were married for 43 years. My father started seeing someone from his past about six months after my mother's death. She lives in Alabama, and he lives in NC. For the past three months, they have been meeting in SC every other weekend. Trips costing $1000+ each.
He has been acting very different in the past month or so, mood swings, forgetfulness, etc. and it has my sister and I concerned.
My grandmother (my mom's mom) passed away last month. While she was in the nursing home, my uncle (who had power of attorney) and father had the beneficiaries changed on her IRA account (My dad was the agent who sold her the account) into just thier names, and split her remaining assets 50/50. These accounts originally had my mother and uncle as beneficiaries, and my mother's share would have been distributed to my sister and I. Also, my day took out a mortgage on his house, that had just been paid off in March of this year.

Well, I think he is real and at large, but I just wondered if there was anyone out there who thinks he is just a made up person.

I just thought it would be an interesting question to ask. I just think it would be weird if Osama Bin Laden was just a person the government made up to be a poster child for terrorism.

And like I said, I do think he is real. This is just one of those 'what if' questions. I'd just like to see what you all think!

I saw a story on tv where a woman in Ohio was upset because she got a cup of coffee from Starbucks that had a quote on it from Bill Scheel saying something about it is foolish how people believe in God rather than themselves (dont remember exact quote). When I asked Starbucks about this they said that they have other quotes from Rick Warren (Purpose Driven Life) and Mike Doughty who laments about extremists and hipsters saying there isn't a God. So, is all this jazz really appropriate for a coffee company? Now, i'm a Christian, but even I want religion out of certain places. What is the point of pro/anti religion message on cups? What is next, pro/anti gun debate messages on coffee from Dunkin' Doughnuts? Perhaps Krispy Kreme will have pro-choice/pro-life messages on their coffee. Does anyone else thing this whole ad campaign is really unneccessary to sell their product?

Why do you think there is an NBA Lottery? My personal belief is not because it will keep teams from tanking (They do it anyways i.e. 96-97 Spurs!), I believe it is because David Stern was tired of seeing big time players going to small market teams and losing money! More benjamins in Ol' Davey Stern's already grotesquely greedily lined pockets - Oy Vey! Tell me what you think!

I want to get out of credit card debt. I'm in college, but am working. I have several cards that are at their limits, and have used most of my savings trying to pay the interest each month. I met a guy bit ago, but he's just moved across the country, so much of our relationship is being started online, even though I will see him this summer.
