says they "believe in" God? Is it just His existence they believe in, or is there much more to it than that?

From spending 5 minutes on Yahoo Answers, there's no shortage of angry comments from conservatives, attacking everything "liberal", whatever that means.

Another pattern is that people arguing for a conservative point of view trend toward hurling insults and personal attacks rather than explaining themselves, or supporting their arguments with facts.

Are conservatives hateful or ignorant by nature, or do hateful and ignorant people tend to be conservatives?

A week and a half ago, my daughter started limping a little bit. By that next morning, he knee was swollen and she was not walking on her right leg at all. We went to the ER where they did X-rays that revealed nothing. They did blood work that had normal white blood counts. We went to an orthopedic doctor last week to request an MRI on her, but he said it was unneccessary and told us to come back in a week. We went back yesterday and her knee is still swollen and she is still limping, if she even walks. She has reverted back to crawling some of the time. The orthopedic doctor re did the X-rays, which still reveal nothing. We had the blood work redone as well, we are waiting to hear back from that. The doctor scheduled a bone scan for her on Friday. My concern is that the doctor does not know what is wrong with her. I don't know why he won't do an MRI just to make sure that there is nothing torn or pulled in her knee. Please give me some advice or help or whatever. :)

I believe it will be the Spurs and the Pistons in the finals...I know it's the popular pick. Then i think the pistons will beat the spurs in the finals(go Flip)But on the post game show last night Charles Barkley said he thought the Jazz would be able to beat the Spurs...Then Magic backed him kind of. Does anyone else actually share this opinion with these two basketball geniuses?

History and Science books are always changing and being updated as historians and scientist uncover more evidence of the past..

The Bible does not change because evidence has been uncovered of it's truth through out the history of the world

In the past years, archealogical evidence as proved many stories in the Bible to possibl be true..

Dead Sea Scrolls for one, Solomon's Temple, lately King Herrod's tomb, The Garden of Eden being located in Iraq.

Scientists even now realize how the Sea was parted by ocean currents, winds as told in the story of Moses, or how the sea might of turned blood red with a fungus that plagued the waters or Locusts that brought fourth massive destruction, these are biblical stories, scientists realize could of very well happened.

How can you say the Bible is full of fairy tales when even Archeologists are finding evidence of biblical truths.

I am 31 and never married. I have had 2 relationships that were 3 years, and have 2 kids. Other than that, not anything long. SO I have spent my life looking forward to that day when I will have 'the rest of my life with the man that I choose'. BUT I am finding that some men just don't want that. The guy I am interested in right now doesnt' really know if he wants to settle in a commited relationship. He is willing for 'us' to happen, but isnt' looking for it.

Is it unrealistic to want a man that is 'looking' for someone. I would like to be anticipated, not stumbled upon. I don't want to change someones mind. I want to be what he was waiting for. Is that unrealistic?

A friend of mine has been married for 5 years, they have one daughter 4 years old and have been trying to have another child (through invitro, with no luck).. and his wife basically doesnt want to have sex anymore, no interest at all. it's like all she wants is the baby but no concern about having a physical relationship, he has talked to her about this and she keeps telling him that maybe her libido might come back someday, but there is nothing she can do about it... I am trying to help him but their issues are complicated and i need help.. he doesnt want to be married to someone who doesn't understand that he has physical needs aws part of a marriage, and he still loves her very much..

During a girls' night out, one of my closest girlfriends confided something to me...

She and her husband are in a Dom/sub relationship. He's the Dom and she's the sub anyway, she said her hubby wants to get her a "pet" to play with...it's been a long standing fantasy of his....he wants to watch her "play" and he also wants to participate...all this is okay however, this is where it starts to get on shaky ground....the "pet" he fantasises about is a sixteen year old girl....(okay, he can't be hung over a fantasy) however, she told me her husband really wants it to happen.

Does this mean he is a pedophile, or one in the making?

For example if you were German during WW2.

Would you fight AGAINST your country???

Are you automatically a traitor if you fight against your country even if your country is commiting war crimes in your name.

I love bacon (it's nearly my favorite type of meat) but any pork will do.

I think the American way of government is the best ever (and everyone else thinks so, too) because when some senators want to steal money from everyone in America to give it to people who wear t-shirts with a donkey emblem, the other senators say OK, you can steal money from everyone else and give it to your friends who wear the shirts with donkeys as long we also can steal money from everyone else and give it to our friends who have an elephant emblem on their shirts. It would be silly to live in a country where the senators told each other, "No, you can't steal from everyone else to give money to your friends." I mean what good would it be to have senators as friends then??

I love bacon, always have and always will!

The constitution states that each person is equal and and has the right to vote and each vote is equall in value. If this is true than why are lobyist groups legal. If the citizens have a problem they contact their representative be it a letter, phone call or petition. One person one vote. If a corportate has a problem they send a lobyist with pockets full of money and buy a vote. When are you going to give the people their government back. I want a government for the people. Not what we currently have which is a government for the corporations. Lobyist should be illegal. If a corporation wants something change they should only be given the same options as the people have which contact their representative via phone email, letter or petition. Please advise.

the same beliefs as them?

I have met many christians who assume i'm christian because of my morals and values, the way i raise my children, participate in the community etc.

i'm pagan and private about my religion, because i think religion is a private, personal thing. the problem is, i feel guilty about just letting people believe i am something that i'm not, but on the other hand, it's not really their business.

so, when should you tell someone about your religious beliefs when they differ from theirs?

and let's face it, many many people DO care if you aren't the same religion as them. (i'm not one of them, but being pagan, i am often discriminated against)
