At what interest rate?

If you want to have some fun with math, search out a financial site that has a savings interest-rate calculator, and compare the difference between saving the money in a piggy bank for two years, versus putting in an interest-bearing account.

You might be pleasantly surprised.

Disclaimer: (I just had a horrible thought!...) DO NOT do this with your lunch money! One should always invest in one's health and well-being before investing in anything else!

Assuming one of the years isn't a leap year you'll have $365. How much you have at the end of that period depends on where you invest your money. If you have an interest-bearing savings account you'll end up with more than $365.

You mean to say "every day", not "everyday". The word, "everyday" means commonplace, not each day.

Now, the amount you save is going to depend upon whether one of the years is a leap year. If you assume neither is a leap year the amount is (.50)*730, otherwise, it's (.5)*731.
