Is it an English thing to refer to math as maths? I see it all the time here. Anyway, there are approximately 39 inches in a metre. That means 5.4m = (5.4)39 inches and 2.8m = (2.8)39 inches. Once you figure that out with your calculator, there are 12 inches in each foot, so divided your answers by 12. the answer is the number of feet and the remainder is the number of inches.

yeah, in the Uk we say maths... its kinda weird but hey.
oh and back to the main question, 5.4/0.3=18 feet
2.8/0.3=9.3 feet
