Why do richer kids who lived in cities have more beautiful complexion and better self-image than those poor kids living in the provinces?

i live with my bf. we have a baby. 7months. he thinks im fat . i have gained a total of 60 lbs from my pg, i was 123 and im 5'7". now i am 147. i don't think i look that bad. i know i ma not losing the weight fast but its coming off. when he goes grocery shopping he only buys the minumun and nothing i like. i feel like iam starving . i did try talking to him. no effect. that conversation ended with "i know what's best for my family"
i don't want to blow this up but it's wierd to be unable to eat at your own house and i don't want to leave him because of that. its fixable, right?. is he embarass? we planned on going to the beach this summer.could that be it? any ideas?

I have a my calculus midterm tomorrow. I am not sure if I am answering this question correctly. Please help.

Question: An urn contains 18 black marbles and 32 white marbles, and 8 marbles are selected from the urn WITH replacement, and independently of each other.

What is the probability that the exactly 4 of the marbles are black, given that the first marble selected is black?

Here, I am debating whether it is 8C3 ( or 17C3- because one is removed, but then it is with replacement) times 32C4 all over 50 ^8.

I am in a dilemma. Please help with any input. I need to understand what I am doing wrong. Thank you for any input.

I found that there was a steady stream of ants (I live in India, and it's summer) flowing into my fridge, water cooler, keyboard, scanner, ups, and god knows what else and I can't understand why ! I spoke to my boyfriend's younger step brother on the phone earlier today and he said that he just had to tell me that he saw this woman on the street who was so much uglier than me. He could not believe how much this ugly person looked like me, that he had to stop her and ask if she had any relatives in my state. He went on and on about how much she looked like me and about how much more uglier she was.

I only met this person once before and we got along fine and there was no hostility or problems between us.

I was shocked that someone would be this rude and say something so horrible so I just laughed. What could I have said to defend myself? I suppose he thought this was funny, but it really wasn't.

My boyfriend said I should have said at least I am not an alcoholic, unemployed drop out who got fired from every minimum wage job I ever had, but that would have been so mean to say something like that.

What do you say to someone who is this rude and obnoxious?

I live in Europe and the portions that you receive in restaurants here are much smaller than in the U.S. I think the portion sizes at restaurants in the U.S. play a large role in the obesity levels in the U.S.

I understand that people want a good value for their money when they go out to eat but maybe smaller portions would be good for people's health.

I'm going to have to drive. i know that sounds crazy, but the thing is i'm scard of driving and busy roads, traffic. The reason for this fear is two reason, reason one my ex bf of 5years was a crazy driver, took to many risks all the time, reason two i was involed in a very bad Accident while being in the car with my ex, when he was driving, his head nearly got cut off, i saw the back off the truck inside our car. we both were fine lucky for us tho. but the thing is i'm very nervous and got pretty much no confidence behind the wheel. i do have a Licence and i do know how to drive, i'm just scared as, i have driven a car well over a year and 6 months. is there any advice, tips, website that can help me a little in such short time. i only have a few hours to get my self ready for this. what sould i do, this job means everything to me. and i think the area it is in has very busy roads ect. please help me..........

I know that transferring into the Ivy league is extremely challenging, considering the minimal amount of acceptances they admit per year. My question is whether it would be more advantageous to take 3 SAT II subjects or not. I know that they are not required for transfer students in most schools, but I would appreciate hearing from someone who really knows. I'm not sure whether I should concentrate more on SAT II's or on bettering my SAT I score, or on doing the ACT... Thanks!
