I'm a volunteer trying to build a house for several very poor families in Cambodia. Wood and re-enforcing rods are very expensive! I have a small budget and am stuck. I have set 16 concrete pillars in a concrete footing. I have built the walls with brick. At the top of the pillars I have poured cross beams connecting all the pillars together. I want to know if Ican pour a concrete slab on top of the pillars using #12 rebar set at 1/2 meters apart forming a mesh on top of the pillars and then pour 10 cm (4 inches) of concrete mixed 3-8-10? Will this work? There will be a second story with a lightweight tin roof. No heavy appliances or furniture. Can someome please advise me?
Sorry, I should have said: the span between pillars is 3 meters or 117 inches. Pillars and Beams are 19 cm x 19 cm (7.5x7.5 inches).
One more thing: I'm using 3 parts portland cement, 8 parts crushed rock and 10 parts sand. Is that ok?

Sorry my poor english, i am Italian now living in Ireland. I have started to learn horse riding. My riding teacher told me to wear jeans when i ride she says jeans are comfortable. So I wear tight levis. they are only jeans i have. The next lesson one other learner told me not to wear them he said wear baggy combat trousers. He said they are better for horse riding. I then say my teacher which is best? she then said my tight fitting jeans are better. I feel comfortable in my levis aswell. Should I change and wear combats next time I go riding?

It Idles at around 2000rpms when warm and then when I put it in gear it idles at around 900 but you can feel the engine idle a little rough like its misfiring but I don't think it is because going down the road there is power there and there are no codes being reported. I just dropped the engine in there and looked at the haynes manual for the vaccum hoses and from the diagram I don't think I got any of them hooked up wrong or anything. There is one hose that hookes up to the cruise that off of that is aonther hose I had to plug for the cruise to work but I can figure out where it goes thats why I had to plug it. If anybody has any idea what the problem could be any help would be appreciated.

I started drinking this tea, "3 ballerina's", its a strange taste but not bad once you get used to it. Trouble is I have had to mornings of having to run to the bathroom every half hour!, very embarrassing when you feel you need to go right now or else!..lol
