Ok, we all know that it rains very little in desert countries like the Middle East for instance. But what is the reason behind it? I know it sounds stupid (and I am no scientist) but even these countries are surrounded by water so shouldn't the intense heat trigger the water cycle?

I am overweight and i would like to do something with my life so i want to start running and getting fit. How can i do this., What is the best way to start running. I know that you can't just throw yourself in to it, Is there anyways.?

i am staying separately from my husband since last 2 years. we also have a 1.5 year old son . my forced me and my parents to give him about 10 lakhs worth jewellery and cash which he spent in gambling and lottery. he also used to torture me physically. now he says he will divorce me only if i give my child to him. i dont want my son to be like him. i dont trust him - he may harm our child just to avenge my decision of staying away from him. pleaze help if you know indian laws what should i do?

Do we really have them libs are going after talk radio fairness doctrine where they can silence conservative radio and only that they are not affected so republicans cant go on there shows with someone they disagree with on there time that is unfair to me. Does anyone have good technical understanding of web-site hosting? Is it feasible for this site to have had so many hits in the past 2 weeks. The site must be hosted on some really high-end intrastructure. Only the likes of Google, eBay and Amazon have this much traffic.

The population of UK is 60 million so we have all visited it once plus all the international hits?

Or is this figure over-inflated deliberately and if so why?

Everyone says that yorkies have all these health problems. I am really wanting a Yorkie but I don't have hundreds and hundreds of dollars to spend at a vet. I have a couple of friends who have yorkies and they havn't gotten sick. The one breeder I found has them for $200, AKC, but am I getting ripped off?

it seems that your friends there have all but forgotten about you? That is happening to me now. I am sure that it not that they set out to "forget me." I think it just reinforces the fact that "When you are gone, you are just GONE!" They people have a life that now does not include me. They are right to go on with their life, as I am right to go on with my new life. But, it does seem rather strange that connections can be cut so quickly. I guess all of this means that "yesterday" and "tomorrow" are just concepts, and that the only thing that really exists is "right now." Any thoughts?

Why don't they just make it illegal and STOP making it?! I'm a smoker and I don't plan on giving up, even when the ban comes in July, I'm not a heavy smoker so it won't affect me so much but if it is so bad for everyone why can't they just take it away?!!!?! I'm in the UK.
