Last Thursday at my apartment complex, a kid drove his truck into my car. After the accident, i got out of the car and asked him for his insurance. I told him the damage was minor so i didnt want to file a police report but that i did want to call his insurance company. This was Thursday of last week. His insurance company is telling me to get an appraisal but they told me he has not answered their phone calls to claim responsibility. What can i do, if i dont have a police report? Is it still too late to file one? There were witnesses at the apartment that saw everything. The guy who hit me lives at the complex... Any ideas anyone?

Im following a knitting pattern and it tells me to decrease 1 stitch at neck edge on next 3 rows then on following 2 alternative rows, what does alternative rows mean? I think it means to work 1 row then the next row is the alternative row so to decrease here, am i right?

All these wars have a similar component and that is they involve people . People in the war on poverty who are not able to function in society because of learning , drug or mental problems . The war on drugs because so much money is at stake for those wishing to put their own lives on the line to make money selling and trading drugs .
And the war on terrorism which is one that is about practicing the religious traditions followed by hundreds of millions of people . While we may feel it is wrong to stone a woman to death for having an affair to these people it is a way of life .
Since we do not respect these people because of their belief's and expect change are we doomed to fail no matter how many soldiers we have in the middle east .

My 23 yr old brother is marrying a girl who he has dated for 7 years. She has never liked me, and is my same age and we have went to school together our whole life. I am 22, and then I have a younger brother who is 20. I am very close to my mom, however, now that this new girl is going to become part of the family, my mom does everything with her and lives her life of the dream of owning every coach and dooney purse, like the future sister in law does. I am getting married in Sept07, and asked her to be a bridesmaid, because she will be family and that is the thing to do. Her wedding is in June08, and she did not ask me to be in the wedding. I am the only sister to my brothers. She is an only child. Is it wrong she did not ask me? Even worse, her and my brother asked my exbf to be a groomsmen in their wedding, but did not ask my future husband to be one---and he will be the new brother in law to my brothers. I think this is all sick! Am I just the crazy one for feeling that way?

ok, She goes off on a trip to visit a friend. Her friends friend a man is organizing her a place to stay. She talks again about he is her friends friend. Then I have to drive all night to go pick her up because things have gone sour between her and the guy who she rented the place from. While I was on the phone she said 'thats it I am never meeting anybody from myspace again' meaning she met him on myspace. She was talking passionately and made a slip up revealing that.. Now when I arrive after driving forever, she is very affectionate and is now punting the story that he was her girl pals friend. I did not call her up on her little slip up about myspace.

So its her friends friend, then she met him on myspace, then back to her friends friend.

Does this sound suspicious?

A man knocks on a someones door and when the door opens this man says what can I do for you and he says can I have a push and the man says no and he shuts the door. Then the mans wife says who was that and the man says just some one who wants a push so she sed when your car broke down last week someone gave you a push so go and help him .so when he opens the door he shouts were are you to this the man says over here were over her on the swing. was that funny?

When I staple-gunned a telephone wire to the bottom of the wall the staples continue to fall out because its sheetrock and its not going into a beam. Is there a better way to secure the wire to the wall? Maybe a better staple which would secure it more effectively?

I speak Spanish fluently (second language) and I have always wondered about the pronunciation phenomenon that takes place and how it is accurately pronounced. This happens when a 'rr' sound procedes an 's'. Example: Mas rapido. When I hear native speakers say this word, they often seem to
"eat" the 's' so it sounds more like "Ma rapido". For me, I can accomplish saying it accurately if I say "Mas (pause) rapido...but to connect it together "masrrapido" well it sounds tangled and I end up making a "whistling" sound when I say it...kind funny!. So, what do you all say about it? Gracias!

The child is over 4 and can hardly talk (slurrs his words real bad out of laziness, not handicap), he's constantly parked in front of the tv, and still uses a sippy-cup. He can't hardly eat with a fork, and his parents still feed him instead of making him do it himself. This isn't because the child is mentally challenged, just because of being the youngest of 5 kids, the parents must subconsciously not want him to grow up too fast. They still talk baby talk to him saying "Uv oo" instead of 'I love you'. I think that's the root of his speech issues.

*My question is: should we be morally obligated to try to work with him and help him along, or is it the parent's choice? Do we park him in front of the tv when we're babysitting like THEY do at home, or should we recognize the problem and do what they don't? We aren't a Business or Pre-School, just a favor thing.

We have a toddler who can drink out of a real cup, and this child can't do that, and they are over 4 yrs old!
