My boyfriend soon to be husband and I are planning to get married after we both finish school before he goes back into the Army and then I will be able to go back with him as his wife. I was wondering if the military wives & fiances could give me any advice on what to expect from military life??? Could you all possibly tell me some differences between military and civilian life??? I know this may not be in the right category, but I thought other parents could help. I'm having a garage sale in a week and I have no idea how to price things. I have only ever gone to a couple garage sales so I don't really have an idea on how to set my prices. I'll just be selling some of the kids clothes, a lot of baby girl outfits only worn once or twice. What do you ask for things like that? I know not to set prices too high, but how high is too high? Any suggestions would be really appreciated, thanks.

1991 s-10 with a 4.3 v6. Test light across negative terminal on battery to cable has a dead short. Short is worst with ignition switch to run. With off a slight short is still there which I can make go away by removing radio. I have checked ground and is good to block and chassis. Big short goes away when the wires (3 that bolt to terminal on back) of alternator are removed, but still present when wires are touched together without being on alternator. The wires go to the ignition switch, and the battery. I took apart the ignition switch and cleaned, no luck. I have full wiring diagrams and have traced wires to no avail, everything I check has no resistance. I know there is a short to ground, I know that it affects many cicuits (it started with the door jamb switch). The brake lights , the headlights,the cruise control switch, the radio, the dimmer switch, and the alternator is affected. I am very capable at tracing wires/ fixing shorts, but I am stumped. Any suggestions?

HI, I live in the countryside and have a confident 4yrold dacshund and a nervous 10yrold labrador. He has always been nervous (of male dogs, bangs, thunder), but has been fine in this area (lived here 3yrs) where we walk out straight into a private field, no other dogs.

Recently he has been refusing to go for a walk, he is to terrified to go out the front door, he cries, drools, and runs away. I can't see any change (except the seasons) and my other one is fine.
When I can persuade him to come he is fine too, but he usually won't, he is not off his food or anything. Problem is he will only do his business on the walks, not in the garden, I am afraid he will bust something.

The vet won't help and I can't get a dog shrink. Please help because he is my lovely, gorgeous, stubborn old weirdo!

Ok, so many people are bitter about the gas prices soaring to record heights. Do people not realize that this product is subsidized by our government preventing us to pay upwards of 6 dollars a gallon?

Are people just to concerned with feeling that they're owed something or shouldn't "have to pay" prices that high? What do you think?

Acts 7:55-56 it says Stephen saw Jesus standing on the right hand of God... Jesus stands on the right hand of himself?

Matt 3:14-17 it says the Holy Ghost came down as a dove, Jesus came out of the water and God the Father said he was pleased with his son. that show three seperate beings.

I also read that the Holy Ghost caused Mary to concieve Jesus... If Jesus is the Holy Spirit, then he impregnated his own mother?

John 17 says that Jesus prays to his Father and only does his Fathers will... it doesn't say he does his own will.

What about Adam and eve? it says they are joined as one flesh... does that make them one person or one in purpose?

It make perfect sense to me that God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are one IN PURPOSE not personage. This is what the Scriptures teach--the Godhead.

The Trinity is a false doctrine voted on by unispired men in 320 AD in the council of Nice.
