I use a Seagate external hard drive with my iBook G4. There are several folders on it, but there is one that I refer to often and have therefore placed in the "sidebar" of Finder.

Recently I turned off the Seagate for a long time (maybe 2 to 3 weeks) and I've just plugged it in again. Everything works normally...all the folders can be accessed, except for the folder in my Finder bar. When I try to access it, it tells me that the volume can't be found, although all the other folders work fine. The folder icon of that particular folder has also turned to the Network icon (that blue sphere within a square) and it's labelled as an Alias (0 KB).

What has happened? Have I lost all my data? How do I recover the folder?

People out there..Im one person whos really week in believing myself...Im frustrated and tired because my friends even my best friends take advantage of this because im a easy person to take advanage of. I always give up when there is arguments...i feel like its my fault even when its not..My friends have the power to make me feel guilty and this gives the chance to take control of me...Im really ******* tired. I want to make them stop taking control of me..i want to stand up for myself..And believe inmyself ..Is there any good website or links ...not like where i have to sign with credit card to order..Any site with guidlines and advise would be very helpful that can make me feel more confident..boost up my Low-selfesteem, Solve my mental health problems.

Maybe I laugh too much. No, the disorder is

First of all I should say we live in Kansas City. Planted roses in the front of the house, now I would like to put some kind of low growing plant in front of them, to fill up the space. I am thinking something that will be green for a long while, not a juniper (don't care much for them) I am kind of at a loss. Any ideas?

It is just too sad to stand by and witness my daughter suffering to cope with the ear ringing! That isn't the worst though, as she struggles to get to sleep her general health seems to be getting worse. It appears that as she is so irratable and anxious, she can't sleep for long and nowdays seems to pick up almost every sickness that is doing the rounds. My theory is that this be resulting from the tinnitus? I am searching for a tinnitus treatment right now.

I have a question about English grammar.

Which sentences do you use in everday conversations??

1 If I were a bird , I could fly.
2.If I was a bird, I could fly.

I think I were sentence is correct English grammar.
But Some people often use If I was sentence.
If I were is kind of idiomatic sentence, isn't it??

We've been best friends for 4 years now but i've noticed a lot of things and sometimes it leads me to confusion. She's always there for me and i'm always there for her too. The things that annoys me is when she acts diffrent sometimes and acts nice again. I dont like it when shes with boys, she acts diffrent and then she ignores me. I feel like a dick...I do want to tell her but afraid that it might lead to argument. Why is she doing this???? And sometimes she really makes me feel sick because shes really slutty when shes around boys and she acts really cheap. Im more like a girl with typical tight attitude and a girl with self-respect. what do i need in order to grow and keep freshwater plants in my tank? i have an empty 2.5 gallon tank and i was thinking about putting up plants in it before adding fish..

what soil is best to keep in the bottom of the tank? I'm assuming i plant them in the soil as opposed to keeping them in little pots right? what about the ph levels, water temp and lighting? my tank comes with a 12v flourescent lamp.

Also do i need a special filter or oxygen for the tank? I currently only have a filter that runs water through some plastic balls and some rocks and then cycles the water back into the tank...

I have no idea what i'm doing..
