Ok, so many people are bitter about the gas prices soaring to record heights. Do people not realize that this product is subsidized by our government preventing us to pay upwards of 6 dollars a gallon?

Are people just to concerned with feeling that they're owed something or shouldn't "have to pay" prices that high? What do you think?

Well, sh*t. If the government can throw nearly a trillion dollars at Afghanistan & Iraq; they can afford to subsidize a little more.

The law makers are the only ones who can afford gas at whatever price the oil companies want. But like many major corporations, the CEO's make 100 times what the workers do. There is NO accountability for this! We are stuck paying whatever the gas prices are. Problem is...the rich DON'T CARE what they pay, but I earn $8.50 an hour-- and dont want to freaking pay that for a gallon of gas!

As for ppl feeling we're "owed"??

Hell yeah, we're owed. We work hard, pay taxes and watch the major oil companies report RECORD PROFITS at our expense. What's NOT to be pi$$ed off about?

They shouldn't have to pay prices that are this high. The government has sort of banned the use of hybrids, and everyone now owns gas guzzlers. They need gas, and with soaring bills on everything, they don't want another thing that goes high!

And still people don't complain about $1.50 for a pint of drinking water. Gas is supposed to bee cheaper than water, I guess.
