Acts 7:55-56 it says Stephen saw Jesus standing on the right hand of God... Jesus stands on the right hand of himself?
Matt 3:14-17 it says the Holy Ghost came down as a dove, Jesus came out of the water and God the Father said he was pleased with his son. that show three seperate beings.
I also read that the Holy Ghost caused Mary to concieve Jesus... If Jesus is the Holy Spirit, then he impregnated his own mother?
John 17 says that Jesus prays to his Father and only does his Fathers will... it doesn't say he does his own will.
What about Adam and eve? it says they are joined as one flesh... does that make them one person or one in purpose?
It make perfect sense to me that God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are one IN PURPOSE not personage. This is what the Scriptures teach--the Godhead.
The Trinity is a false doctrine voted on by unispired men in 320 AD in the council of Nice.

Why do so many Christians insist on worshiping an "unknown God"? Why do they follow the false teachings of man?

I don't have to comment on your verses because they prove the trinity a false doctrine. I would like to invite trinity believers to search thru the Bible, especially the 27 books of the Christian Greek Scriptures, to see for if if Jesus and his disciples taught a Trinity. As you search, ask yourself:
1. Can I find any scripture that mentions “Trinity”?
2. Can I find any scripture that says that God is made up of three distinct persons, Father, Son, and holy spirit, but that the three are only one God?
3. Can I find any scripture that says that the Father, Son, and holy spirit are equal in all ways, such as in eternity, power, position, and wisdom?
As hard as you may look, you won't find the trinity concept anywhere in Scripture. It is a man-made falsehood.

I worship God the Father, Word/Son & the Holy Spirit.
The reason God is a Trinity is because without the fulness of God the Father, Word & Holy Spirit, nothing would have been created.
Elohim said, "Let us make man in our image.". We were made in the image of God; a body, soul & spirit, a trinity too. Until Adam ate of the forbidden fruit & died spiritually (forbidden tree of life) then within an age (1000 yrs) died physically. The soul went where the LORD God puts the souls.
It is written in 1Jn5 that there are 3 that bear witness in heaven; the Father, Word & Holy Spirit and these three are one. When three are one, that is a Trinity. There are other examples of trinities. A 3 leaf clover. A person born of God; body, soul & spirit. An egg has a yoke, white & shell. But God is a Trinity first in that God the Creator is the Father, Word & Holy Spirit. Before anything was created.
There are false Trinity doctrines. But the devil does attempt to steal Gods identity in all of Gods characteristics.

Are you a Muslim? You are putting words in the verses you quoted which are not there. The Holy Trinity does not mean 3 Gods but one God or Being having 3 personae. Consider water. It is 2 parts oxygen and 1 part hydrogen that's 2 in 1 or 1 in 2 but just the same it is water. The principle of the Holy Trinity is the same. Here is a more thorough interpretation of the Holy Trinity.
The Trinity is the term employed to signify the central doctrine of the Christian religion -- the truth that in the unity of the Godhead there are Three Persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, these Three Persons being truly distinct one from another.
Thus, in the words of the Athanasian Creed: "the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God, and yet there are not three Gods but one God." In this Trinity of Persons the Son is begotten of the Father by an eternal generation, and the Holy Spirit proceeds by an eternal procession from the Father and the Son. Yet, notwithstanding this difference as to origin, the Persons are co-eternal and co-equal: all alike are uncreated and omnipotent. This, the Church teaches, is the revelation regarding God's nature which Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came upon earth to deliver to the world: and which she proposes to man as the foundation of her whole dogmatic system.

I may be very blunt, but that's how i was raised. It is so funny how people only take certain thing out of the Bible that appeases them and omit everything else. Some of you need to actually try reading the Bible from cover to cover maybe then you will know that God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost are three separate personages. 70% of all people that are Christian haven't even read the Bible in it's entirety, so more than likely none of you are qualified to answer this question! Learn your stuff, Then come back!!

The doctrine of the Trinity is the belief of the Church from the beginning and was taught by Jesus and the apostles. The Council of Nicaea was just a confirmation and defining of the belief in response to the heresy of Arianism which is practiced today by Jehovah Witnesses, and their schismatic sects the Iglesia ni Cristo and Ang Dating Daan.
If one persists in supporting a view different than the doctrine of the Trinity as defined in the Ecumenical Creeds one creates Scriptural contradictions that cannot be reconciled while the doctrine ot the Trinity can be reconciled with the whole body of Scriptures without contradiction making it the only belief with any veracity based on Scripture. While it is true that the doctrine of the Trinity is not as much explicit as implicit in Scriptures it is true teaching that cannot be denied upon a systematic application of Scripture to the question of the relationship of Christ, the Father and the Holy Spirit.
In Christ
Fr. Joseph
BTW- There are no Christian Churches that do not teach the Trinity. Instead, those that teach differently are followers of the ancient heresy of Arianism and are the false teachers spoken of in Scriptures. .

Trinity is a bunch of garbage and a very powerful deception. (see "Godhead" below)
The trinity is but one set of beliefs though most of the christians today are really on the verge of "modalism" which teaches that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are really three offices held by the one God.
There are many Christians that do not believe either the trinity or modalism.
When a person says:
The Father is God. The Son is God. The Holy Spirit is God. But not three gods only one God.
They are really teaching something akin to modalism. This is considered heretical by true trinitarians. Often they will use also the word or label "Godhead".
"Godhead" is in many bible translations. But the Greek word should be taken to be "God's Divinity and the multiple forms He shows this to us". Paul used local concepts or concepts locals understood to explain God.
True trinitarians do not believe in a "Godhead", as taught in modalism, they believe that each is God but each is a distinct entity.
This is where many religious teachers can confuse the newcomer to religion. It is easy for them to show the errors in modalism, but difficult to show that Jesus and the Holy Spirit are not also one with God in purpose and essence yet distinct self's which is close to "trinity".
Jesus called his self the son of man.
Numbers 23:
18 And Balaam took up his discourse, and said, "Rise, Balak, and hear;
hearken to me, O son of Zippor:
19 God is not man, that he should lie,
or a son of man, that he should repent.
Has he said, and will he not do it?
Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfil it?
20 Behold, I received a command to bless:
he has blessed, and I cannot revoke it.

Acts 7:55---Ever heard of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit?
Matt 3:14 and John 17, other---I believe that Jesus is God in human form (I know "duh"), God is in heaven, and the Holy Spirit is when God is speaking to someone. God takes a different form in different situations.
Last sentence---Jesus spoke of a Holy Trinity first, not some council.

1- Christ, as a soul cannot mix with what the father is made of. That's kinda why being in the highest position is the furthest a man (God inside or not) can go
2- 3 persons. you still can't understand the Trinity, can you?
3- Jesus isn't the Holy Spirit. He's the Son. Trinity concept, I don't expect you to understand
4- because as Christ, He was still a human and had human interference, like not wanting to die, having to actually resist evil and having to actually do things under the Law instead of just being the Law. He also needed to show that He as the Son had to be an example, obedient to the Father, as sons (and daughters) after Him should be
5- Adam was being poetic to Eve.
6- if you can't comprehend, leave it alone please.
the Nicene Council was in 381 A.D. and I'm not Catholic. the Godhead is present throughout Scripture, even david refered to all three. you just don't see it.

You are doing a great job of proving the Trinity, thanks. However you left out this verse: "For there are three that bear record in heaven, The Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: AND THESE THREE ARE ONE." (emphasis mine)
1 John 5:7
Also, these words were written during the lifetime of John the Apostle, long before 320 A.D.
Your non-belief in the Trinity is inspired by Satan the father of lies.
