I just watched a Pamorama episode about scientology and they portrayed it as almost cult like. The people from the scientologists who were policing the filming were brash and over bearing and wouldn't let the journalist have his say. Is this the real scientology? With them trying to get it recognised as a religion in the UK should we be worried?

As in, a homeless vagrant or a poor immigrant could suddenly do a law or medicine degree for free.

If so, how do you think?

Perhaps by the governent placing higher taxes on citizens to receive enough capital to better fund tertiary education Institutes?

Or

Perhaps by firms improving the quality of exported goods to raise demand for their products in other countries, and the home government placing a higher corporate tax on the firms to bring more money/captial into the country and government?

What do you think? (answers don't have to be too technical, just opinions)

Intelligent scientists from different countries backing each other's theories up independently OR religious leaders who were 'hell bent' on recruiting people to their doctrine or religion thousands of years ago?
