It would not bother me at all...as a matter of fact I lived in Kansas for many years, smack dab in the middle of the flight path between an Air force base and an Army base that were about 50 miles apart...I would see and hear all sorts of interesting flying "planes" or helicopters over head....I loved it....I once looked up and in amazement (because there was hardly any noise) there was a Stealth Bomber hanging in the sky over where I was standing...I waved and he dipped a wing back...I miss all that...and it was comforting

When I was first married, at a very young age, my husband and I moved out of state. He worked away from home sometimes and I would be alone. There was a rail car switching station across the street from our house and the activity was 24/7. Sometimes when the cars hit, the walls would shake. But I loved it. I always knew if I could hear that noise there was someone close by. It helped me make it through those long, scary nights alone. So, no, it would not bother me.

Yes it would!! That is a military hot spot. So is San Diego -- beautiful city -- would love to live there BUT -- saw jets constantly, ships docking (coming and going), men on foot (army, navy, air force).
It was just letting u know they were ready for combat any minute. I would also think those would be targeted cities for terrorists.

I live under a flight pattern of a military base. I have grown to like it. For six days after 9/11 there was no flying. It was spooky. We welcomed the noise when it returned.
