I want to buy some stocks on a budget ($300) but I don't want to join a brokerage or anything. I want to purchase stocks and just keep them. Any information as to how and where would be greatly appreciated.

I have hit the gym hard as my body fat index is 35% Which according to the BMI is Obese. But there is no way i am obese!! I am overweight but not obese.
I do 3 weight work outs a week, 3 dance classes a week, 1 Bike class a week (RPM) and a yoga/tai chi/pilates class a week.
I have been doing it for 2 weeks now going into my 3rd week how long do you think it will take to start noticing dramatic differences?? My diet is excellent as well.
I already feel great and have noticed change as well . But in a professional opinion what do you think?

I am in wired hell, everytime I turn on the breaker it blows when I flip on the switch to one of the lights, not tough, however, at the same time when the breaker is on so is the light. This leaves me to assume that the light switch just acts as a means to blow the breaker. what's going on?!

I am looking at 2 telescopes on ebay.One is a 4 1/2" reflector and the other is a 6" reflector.Would there be a big difference between the two.Would the 6" be better or would the difference be unnoticable......thanks

straight As in every subject; he is in first grade and has 160+ AR points (Accelerated reader), etc... He is very advanced in math.
I am going to homeschool because his teacher sits him in front of the television for about 45 minutes a day as he has completed his work early.--This has been a source of contention between the public school and myself for awhile. They only teach 3 core subjects that are covered on the state exams--math, reading, and spelling. English is placed on a rotating schedule with gym and is taught every other day. Art, music, history, and science are not taught at all!
Placing him in a private school is not really an option. I live in a rural area, and I would spend at least 2 hours a day with him in commute time.
Also, socialization is not really a problem, as he is involved in the martial arts, belongs to a community based basketball league, and participates in a myriad of other activities.
Curriculum with advanced math????
