I cant understand how this is possible ?

Christianity has given some EARLY followers the status of revealing divine words ????

And people base their entire lives and future on these words.....

SCARY !!

How can it be that if a married woman want to abort a baby she can without the fathers consent but if a married man wants to have a vasectomy he has to take his wife along for a chat with the doc to make sure it is what they both want to do?
I find this really strange.
Only discovered this as my hubby wants to have a vasectomy and i had to go along for the consultation to make sure we both new that it was a permenent thing..
But i also have a married friend who had an abortion but never had to consult her partner to make sure it was what they both wanted to do...

It's not so simple as proving God exists (and there have been no proofs that have not involved a large spoonful of faith). There is a much longer list of questions to address with evidence or some justification why you don't need evidence.

1. Does God exist?

2. Is this God aware of humanity?

3. Is this God judgmental regarding thoughts and behavior?

4.Do humans have a soul?

5. Does this God offers a life after death to humans' souls?

6. Does God only reward (with life after death) those who have the correct behavior and thought processes.

7. Does something else (e.g., hell) happen to those who don't believe correctly?

The research examines the innovative ideology of Dr. Heikle generally, as well as his approach to a number of controversial issues specifically. Some of these issues are: his attitude towards the modern Egyptian culture at that time, the relationship between the east and the west, and his call for innovation. It is to be noted that choosing this topic assures that this research is trying to accentuate the cognitive brilliance of this man with the rich legacy and credit of achievements that led him to be immortalized as one of the leaders and intellectual pioneers of Egypt.

Please take a look at my other questions too.

I was recently told that being born in the US, I was born into privledge--at least as far as the riches of my country go. (No silver spoon in MY mouth, I've been rather "poor" all my life monetarily....). Ans I was told to "get over it!" So, I got to thinking: instead of demanding the things we NEED to survive as a country, and "forcing" our way of governing ourselves on others, what if we just treated everyone in the world, all countries, regardless of their political bent, the way we would like to be treated? As friends, as fellow-travellers in life--Would it be so bad to "share the wealth"??

They're are no English translations that stick to the originals. It is impossible to transcribe meaning from one language to another exactly. You always get the interpetation of the translator. Which of course you then have to interpet yourself.

I am recently divorced, and have moved out of the marital home. I know live with my twin sister who just had a baby. She has a 9 yr old as well. I myself have a 2 yr old and a 12 yr old. The 12 and 9 yr old fight constantly. My sisters boyfriend also lives there its a nightmare. My boyfriend and I have been together for a while now and get along great until this all happened. I thought I was helping my sister out, but it seems as if she is taking over. She constantly fights with my boyfriend and always is butting into my relationships. Her daughter is very disrespectful towards everyone. My sister seems to let it go, and decides to take it out on my 12yr old. My boyfriend has decided to leave this caos. To top it off my sisters boyfriend is my boyfriends brother. Get me out of this mess. What should I do without offending anyone.?
