Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Dale Earnhardt Inc. have enjoyed a great relationship since 1999. Dale Jr., and his father before him, have been excellent and loyal ambassadors for the company and the sport of NASCAR. Budweiser and JR Motorsports have an agreement in place to ensure Dale Jr. will continue to personally represent Budweiser through 2008

Budwiser's contract with DEI is up at the end of this racing season, and they have told Dale Jr. that they will gladly follow him anywhere he goes. So, He will, indeed still drive the red budwiser car, it just wont be the #8

I believe that it would be like the situation that happened when Dale Jarrett moved to Michael Waltrip racing,what's in his contract and how Budweiser thinks of the effect on the bottom line.My guess is Budweiser has a better cash cow with Jr. than DEI at this point.

The only question raised about Bud sponsorship was the possibility of an objection from Gibbs whom is anti-alcohol. The Budweiser people have announced continued support. Dale Junior is just moving on so he can invest in the real goals of racing and realize his potential as a driver.

No, Dupont chevrolet will not allow him to wear his bud sponsorship as part of Jeff's pit crew.
