Do some woman think its unlady like to ask out a guy. I've found out about woman who liked me but I didnt find out until they left town. I've never known a guy who said he would be 'turned off', by a girl asking him out. Infact just the opposite.

Does anyone know how could hear the sound of the tv using the dvd speakers. I hooked it up with the red, white, and s-video cables but nothing happend. The tv is a philips plasma tv and the dvd is also philips. Help. I just want to be able to listen to my tv using the dvd's speakers.

I was thinking of buying a Persian cat. This lady breeds persians. She offered me a persian for 300 but when I look at the picture of the cat, he looks like a mixed breed of tabby and Persian. He has the persian face but tabby colors. She is selling her other cats for much more and is giving me a discount on this one. What do you think? Is he worth $300?? Thanks!

I believe that Jimmy Carter said it best..."Being a former president is much more rewarding than being the acting president...these days people wave at me with all their fingers." Honestly, I'm flabbergasted by the amount of energy we're wasting complaining like spoiled children who can't see the forest for the trees about our President. I suppose it's in his job description, to be the figure-head for all of our frustrations, but it is getting SO OLD these days. I feel that it's all that John Stewart covers on "The Daily Show" these days. Bush Bush Bush and more Bush...every day, all day. In my mind we have a serious problem in this country if ANY acting President had as much ACTUAL power and influence as we perceive George Bush to have. THE MAN IS NOT A KING THAT CAN DO WHATEVER HE WANTS. WE DON'T HAVE "INFALLIBLE, DO-ANYTHING EMPERORS" IN THIS COUNTRY. Hell, I don't like the guy because he's a dang hill-billie, not because I perceive him to be the base root of ALL our problems..

S ince I started practicing Buddhism and meditation my perspective of the world had completely change. For instance I am more relaxed, happy, and energetic. But the significant improvement I have seen is that; I am more conscious about the decision I make I am rational. Also meditating had helped my mind to be clear and luminous. My mind used to be occupied with so much negative thoughts.

Western religion seems unconcern about the mind and they concentrate on higher being to solve our problem like Jesus. I completely disagree with this philosophy I believe true peace and enlightenment can be accomplished through us through our mind.

Does anyone disagree?

A man goes on vacation in New York City.
He enters a bar by the Empire State building and strikes up a conversation with another man. When asked if he had been to the top of Empire Building, he says no.
Then the second man says:
"Oh, you should go. It's great and on a windy day like this you can jump off and you fall about half way, then float gently back up."
The first man looks at his new friend and says:
"Yeah, right."
"No, really, I'll show you," the second answers.
So, they go to the top of the building and man two jumps off and when he gets about half way, he floats back up.
"Well, what do think?" he askes the other man.
"I gotta try it he says."
He climbs to the top, jumps off, and SPLAT on the street.
At a building across the street, a doorman looks at a tenet and says:
"You know, that Clark Kent is a nice guy, but he's a mean drunk."

i don't know what is wrong.there is always food in the cage and even when i'm with him, i feed it.it seem like he is not growing at all.i don't know if i'm doing something wrong. i feed him pellet, hay,dry furits, fresh veggies and fresh grasses..

I have XP Media Center 2005, and i'd like to buy the Vista Home Premium UPGRADE. There are 2 questions:

1) If i reformat my hard drive on my XP computer, can i boot from the vista disc in order to install it? My guess is that i cant because it's just an upgrade from XP, but i'm not sure.

2) If i plan to reformat the hard drive with vista on it in the future, can i use the same vista disc to reinstall, or will its copy protection limit me to do so?
