It is not always what you give, it is how you act. Make the day special for her. Make her breakfast in bed, and be on your BEST behavior. Be helpful and kind. Just show her you love her and the day will be special.

Did you have money to go out with your friends? Did you have money for that CD or new article of clothing you wanted? Then you had some money to get your mother a gift. It comes around the same time each year. What would your life had been, if she also treated you so off handily? Put some thought in this yourself. At least print her out a free Mother's Day card. Do the web search.

the best things in life are free.
be.sure to get up before she doe Sunday morning.
make her breakfast in bed, something you know
she likes even if it is only coffee, toast and orange marmalade.(like jam)
Saturday, return all the pop or soda bottles, if you
live where there is a deposit on bottles required get the deposit back and go to a florist or a flower nursery and get either
a plant that she can keep
growing or get a red rose and
put it on the tray when you serve breakfast along with a mother's
day card you made or bought..
don't let her.do anything you can for her such as wash dishes, run to the store, run vacuum in the downstairs area,if the house needs picking up-i.e
take things off of chairs table, floor etc; do that to
make it tidy.
good.luck

Write her a letter telling her that you love her but do it on the computer and use SPELL CHECK!! Also, less video games and more studying will bring up your grades and make you a little bit brighter. That would be the best gift so that when you are 35 you won't still be in her house;-) Good Luck!

Give her gift certificates for jobs you'll do around the house. The less you like that idea, the better a gift it probably is! If there's a job you hate to do, give two certificates for that one -- and promise to do them grumbling-free, then follow through on it. A mom sacrifices lots of things for her children even before they're born and doesn't quit once they are. You can sacrifice for her a little.
If you know you have a habit that annoys her, give one certificate for one day free of that habit (one cuss-free day, one grumbling-free day, one sarcasm-free day, whatever your habit is that annoys her) and then give other certificates for real jobs you can do.
Then again, maybe it would be easier to make a plaster handprint. Most moms like stuff like that.

Do you really have to BUY something? You know that anything you give your mom will make her happy. Make her a gift from the heart, like a card. You can do other things too, like breakfast in bed or a manicure, etc.

You can make something. Make some homemade cupons to give to your mother. They can say "this cupon good for one days laundry" then she gives you the cupon and you do the laundry on that day. There are lots of things you can do to make life easier for your mom like that.
Dont forget to tell her how much you love her.
