I'm father of 4, step father of 1. I have 10yr & 8yr old sons and 5yr & 2yr daughters. I love them to death, but they fight constantly and cause a lot of trouble, especially the middle two. My wife has a lot on her plate, especially since I'm not home a lot. She turns to my step daughter, Taylor, who is 17, for help all the time. The kids listen to her and she'll help willingly 90% of time, but i think my wife uses her too much. I hate seeing Taylor ask to go out and hear my wife say "Well, i need you to help me___ with___while Josh does ___with___." They'll fight about it, but it usually ends with Taylor staying home. I've always kind of backed off when it came to Taylor and let my wife handle her since her father is in the picture, but i feel that i should say something about this situtation. She's 17, not a mother. I've offered to hire help several times, but my wife's answer is always "I have Taylor. No need." She's leaving in a year, then what? How do i get her to see my point?

My mom is in poor health and wants her money and and all devided between her 3 grown children when she dies. Only thing is that One child talked her into putting his name on all her bank accounts and the money she has invested. My question is if she dies does this money become his for him to do as he wants? Or is her will legal and binding? I live in Mississippi if this helps. I thought maybe there was a site somewhere I could get information. Thanks

this afternoon I sat down and watched three squirrels eating popcorn. I watched in fascination and for about 30 minutes I forgot my life sucks. I found a tiny slice of happiness today. So I am wondering ; have we forgotten the pleasure and maybe even a little joy in the simplest of things even though watching squirrels is kind of stupid and ridiculous? does someone out there know what I mean?

My grandmother is extremely depressed. She is on a VA pension and they only allow 8 mental health visits before they cut you off. She cant afford a therapist otherwise.....she does nothing but lay around in bed ALL day...has NO friends.......doesnt even leave the house by herself. She totally isolates herself....i need to think of something constructive for her so she can get out and have a life!....any suggestions? (p.s.- she thinks the red hat society is stupid) LOL

ok, so i've been to like 4 doctors and had 6 blood tests taken, over 10 x-rays, a blood pool test, and a bone scan. No one seems to know what's wrong. My heel has white spots that keep disappearing and is swollen and has a little discoloration. My tendons are like tight and the physical theripyst is working them out, but there is something more than that. I am on a strong pain killer that is so strong you can only take it once a day and i still wake up at night from the pain! My ankle was swolled and discolored to start, then later it radiated up my leg. I had a very similar situation about 4 months ago. If you know of anything this could be, please help me. My grades are slipping and the pain is horrible. I can't walk, so i'm using crutches and they are having me wear a boot all day and night, but i can't even walk on my boot alone yet, the pain is too much. If you think you have an idea, please let me know ASAP, i just want this pain gone! Thanx!

I have a 16 month old newfoundland female. I've noticed the past couple of days when I've brushed her, her spine feels really boney. Today I bathed her and she looks so skinny . I am taking a sample to the vet to be tested for parasites, but I was wondering if it may be from losing her winter coat sice I've brushed about a trash bag of fur off of her this week.
