No, you CANNOT suffocate in the trunk of a car, running or not. No car trunk is air tight.
Those kids who died in one last summer died from heat stroke, not suffocation.

yea havent you ever watched the news/ example three little kids about 8 were playing around in there moms car opend the trunk and it fell shut all three of them died why did you put someone in a trunk of a car lol jk atleast i hope not

well you could also die from the heat as well
(a closed car in the heat can get hot pretty quickly so the trunk
area probably would be hotter then inside the passenger complement itself..
also there could be cabron mixode left over too

ummm, not sure why you want to know this, but yes, they do not suffocate because of the car running, they suffocate because the oxygen supply runs out.
