I am thinking about getting a tattoo of my favorite teams logo when they win the cup

I think it's a good idea if it's what works for you. Tattoos are a completely personal endevour that shouldn't be a topic under influence. People that do not have tattoos should not give you advice because they do not know what they're talking about. Even people with tattoos should really not give advice, other than about the healing process and recommendations of parlors. My "advice" is to get whatever you want to get, because you are an individual and there's no one else like you in the world, so someone else cannot advise you on what is best for you. I have six tattoos and I am completely happy with each decision I made, and I was not influenced by anyone else. If I had followed other people's advice, I would not be pleased with my tattoo choices. In conclusion...go for it. It's your body, your money and your decision.

Depends on how much you love them. Have you been a fan for many years, and not just the winning years? Is there anything likely to happen in the future that might turn you off to that team?

My husband has been a huge Detroit Pistons fan for 20+ years now. He recently got their logo tattooed on his shoulder, which he'd been considering for about three years.

Some questions to ask yourself:

How long have they been your favorite?
Does your favorite team change?
Does your favorite anything change?

If you answered 5+ years for the first question you should be okay.
If you answered yes for the 2nd and 3rd question - I do not suggest you get that tattoo.

i have 9 tattoos--all of personal choice. it really depends on how you feel about it--i cant be one of those, "how will you feel about it when you are 80" people because one of my 9 tattoos is the tasmanian devil and it means a lot to me--does it mean a lot to you? that logo will be there forever...
